while doing this i noticed thats its really hard to decide who was the best midfielder ever considering other players like beckham or rivaldo, boban, savicevic, kaka? Seedorf. & in attack it got worse!

excuse me I am a fan of Ac MIlan... with a long lasting experience ... Nesta is unanimously considered one o the best defenders ever together with BAresi and maldini... and others like Hierro (less strong in the defensive phase) beckenbauer, scirea, trapattoni (less classy) ... and others... NESTA is the essence of defensivness, pure italian style!!! sorry!
