orite mate, my navigation app isnt working it just says navigation to your destination is not available any ideas? also when i add contacts it doesnt save them into my contacts it just saysno contacts with phone numbers? but if i make my own folder 'contacts with phone numbers' there there? lol, let us know if you can help cheers
Yes, I think Co-Pilot is well worth it. Google Nav is good and when they officially unlock it for use outside the US it should get even better but co-pilot is a 'proper' sat-nav and has a lot more features.
First off, the maps are on the SD card wheras google nav downloads them as needed. This makes it much faster to plan routes as no data connection is being used. Also, things like detours aren't available in Google Nav.
It is smoother too and has a lot more customisable options and features
The link for the maps is in the description bar on the right and Co-Pilot I bought from the Android Market. I bought it for my G1 but obviously once bought it is yours for good and it works brilliantly on Nexus One. Definately the best turn by turn available on Android (even better than Google nav)

Is it worth someone paying £23.47 on this or will the official functionality be 'unlocked' when the N1 is launched in the UK?
Also, is there anything special/unique Co Pilot has that Google Navigation doesn't?

Sorry, I should have been clearer. This modified version simply removes the US-only restriction so it will work anywhere, Ireland included.
