@Messi2663 the incubator should be at 99.3-99.8 deg F. i candle once per week but i dont discard eggs unless nothing has happened at all there could be late ones... and you need lots of humidity at the last three days of incubation to help the hatch so the membranes in the eggs dont dry up and make it hard for the chicks to come out we keep it around 67-75 % humidity from day 18-21. and the day they are coming out dont open up the incubator or you lose all your humidity.
@Messi2663 if you must open the bator you can mist the eggs with a lil water if its is warm...so the membranes dont dry up...hope this helps, feel free to ask questions if need be you can pm me...
Is that a Turn X incubator? Nice chicks! Use a red bulb for that brooder. It will keep the pecking of each other down. If one has a spec of blood showing, the rest will peck on that spot. With a red lamp it is harder for them to see the blood.
great video Janet oh yea i got 3 wisdom teeth pulled yestarday it was fun lol and today i went to the hospital cause my tongue was numb still and the dr. said chris its your day heres your prescription all you can eat popsicles
Nice to see everything is status quo at 'procreation HQ.' Must be something in the water up there. LOL. Looks like an Ipod in there with a thermostat app. :)
Pretty beefy right from the start! My white rocks and RIRs are skinny and all most bald. I've seen them take as long as 3 hours to stand up. Those big Orps hit the ground runnin.
They will be in my chicken sandwich LOL
