  • John Lennon's voice is amazing. The energy he had on stage is absolutely amazing.

  • i love this song!!!

  • cool

  • Whoah, they were actually an extremely impressive live band.

  • i apologise for this video. i edited it when i was far younger so it wouldn't get taken down for copyright issues like the other ones id uploaded. i hope people don't mind too much.

  • @eightdaysaweek111 No worries mate, still my favorite version on youtube

  • i love lennon's little head bob at 0:44

  • Comment removed

  • R.I.P John Lennon

  • I like this version much more than the record version. It has a sad sound to it that the record doesn't.

  • Beatles forever and ever! But the year is 1965 (August) not 1966.

  • @pbrick6301

I remember someone with a statement similar to yours. A contemporary, if you will, to you. His Name has gone down in history for his fame.

    Any Guesses? No?

    Mark David Chapman.

  • This is probably 1965, not 1966.

  • What the heck was that? It started with the audio that went with the video and then part way through, different audio was swapped in (the record, I think). What a mess! Whose bright idea was that?!

  • the musical writing genius of McCartney and Lennon combined

  • HAHA HQ LOL

  • Lol, high quality. But seriously sweet video. good to see the classics will be preserved forever.

  • check out the "ticket to ride (scratched version)" it's lol

  • she's got a ticket to ride, she's got a ticket to riiide. No words,

this song is beautiful John and Paul are amazing.

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • If I had to choose between living forever or dying tomorrow but seeing The Beatles live with front row seats?

I'd choose the concert. Life is nothing without these four hotties from Liverpool.

P.S. If I was there, I would've jumped on that stage and kissed all of them.

    Hey, one life to live!

  • Honestly.,..what do George or Ringo bring to this song? Other then standing around like a couple of bozos making milions.

  • @pbrick6301

...I think lead guitar and drums...but I am not sure

  • @pbrick6301 Well, there IS Ringo's amazing backwards drum fills to start...and George's awesome(I didn't say difficult, mind) so, there you are, my good friend- enjoy!

  • @pbrick6301 What do you bring to society besides idiotic youtube comments?

  • @TOSportsFan1990 besides idiotic comments what do i bring to society? society? i do nothing for society. society is controlled by hollywood. thats why it makes me puke when i see lennon try to help other people. it is so fake.

  • @pbrick6301

A song that warms your heart can be a life saver sometimes.

  • @superads91 music has killed millions more then it saves. it gives peope false hope. false hope is dangerous, there are no dreams. the only way to get ahead in life is to lower yourself.

  • @pbrick6301

You must be like 18, the stage of life where we all think that the world sucks, most people suck, and everyone who doesn't see it or express it is hypocrite. But bands like the Beatles are not like that. They were just trying to communicate love, because they thought it works better than communicating hate.

Your comment would be appropriated for nowadays' radio playlist artists, because they have no integrity, no style, no natural grace. The complete opposite of The Beatles.

  • Hey John and Paul love eachother's voice so much they are almost gay for eachother

  • Wooow que rolon!! yo creo que a The Beatles tambien los hubiera seguido por todos lados asi como a COLDPLAY jeje =D

  • george is always giving that "ladies man" smile... 0:59

  • I was born in the wron time!!! it sucks!!

  • HISTORIC HARMONIES (♥)

  • 0:40 cracks me up.

John is a little off and about to crack. Paul check's on John with his eyes and finds him just kinda shakin it off with his head - making Paul smile.

  • Aside from their pure musicianship, John & Paul's voices together create something words can't describe.

  • You can see Paul and John competing with each other, which ultimately makes this performance even better.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=Hgv7Kfwph5A

check out my guitar cover for ticket to ride

  • i love everything about the beatles, especially not telling those screaming girls to shut the fuck up

  • HQ my butt thanks tho.:)

  • Absolutely fucking brilliant.. As a native scouser.. Very little beats the beatles, from the merseybeat, to the generic pop/rock music of that era.. None of it quite affects me as much as how the beatles do. I grew up around the corner from Paul McCartneys old house on Western Avenue, and I used to shag somebody from Upton green..A little bit surreal, them being the most successful band in history.. But at the end of the day, they were just blokes like the rest of us.

  • Such timeless music. the 50s to 70s were the renascence of music. Everything from those 20 years is still enjoyed by people of all ages.

  • BRILLIANT

  • Definitely way more charismatic than Jesus di Maria. ; )

  • George...GEORGe

  • I wish I had a ticket to ride :(

  • @TheDrewTimes2 been there!!! <3 Be strong and if you need a friend count on me

  • I don't rate one above the other.....what this shows brilliantly, is the way Lennon and Macca harmonised so well together, and complimented each others sound..........and that George can harmonise with either of them. Well done.....thanks for the vid. As for the jokes Lennon is throwing at Paul........imagine the nerves !!......harmless nerve calmers I think.

  • I don't rate one above the other.....what this shows brilliantly, is the way Lennon and Macca harmonised so well together, and complimented each others sound..........and that George can harmonise with either of them. Well done.....thanks for the vid.

  • Listen to Paul's vocal when he comes in the first time--he clearly shows that he is the better singer. Sorry, John Lennon fans.

  • JOHN LENNON

  • 11 sets of ears that clearly don`t deserve to be on the head !!

  • Not bad, not bad at all for what is first a wrenchingly slow-motion lost-love C&W-based Skiffle ballard; that then steps it up to an awkward Rockabilly chug through an angry and resentful bridge; before giving its origins away in a proper speed freewheeling banjo-plucking outro. "My baby don't care"--so there's no point in me caring either! I'm Free!

  • I can see tension between John and Paul in this video, especially at the start.

If you say I'm wrong, stop clouding your young mind and realise that they didn't particularly like each other.

  • @xILambyIx That's absolute bullshit. Paul hater, eh?

  • @TheWill714 What made you assume I hate Paul? I didn't show any bias in that comment between John and Paul, and if anything I was having a dig at John for picking at Paul's mannerisms when he speaks to the audience. I'm just letting people know that they hated each other as much as they liked each other at times.

  • @xILambyIx Sure there have been times they didn't particularly like each other, like there are times they adored each other but it's not like brothers get on brilliantly all the time either...making fun of eachother isn't always a sign of bad blood though, especially between guys...

  • I would love to sing like John

  • I always love it when Paul mimes along to whatever John's singing... :D Best band in the history of music. <3

  • i like pauls reaction when he says my baby dont care the second time

  • sexy beasts.favorite song of them.

  • John and Paul ...i love em xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Pauls Vocal is just outstanding, best combination of voices in music to date. And always will be... Just amazing.

  • Ai! é disso que eu to falando...isso sim é Musica!!!

  • My balls itch

  • effff yeah thanks for the upload! these guys are gods in my eyes!!!!!! i can't believe they actually walked amongst us

  • @thekaramajong - Paul & Ringo still do.

  • this is definitely the worst hq video i've ever seen

  • my baby don`t care

  • amazing song

  • that blew

  • Nowadays live music from stars like Enrique Iglesias, Rihanna, and Justin Bieber sounds so much different then their original songs due to autotune ect.

The Beatles were able to pull a pitch perfect song in a live performance! Its amazing, sounds just like their original Ticket to Ride!

Now THAT is real talent, take a good look Beliebers!

  • Great cut to the studio recording! The studio recording is about a half step higher in key than the live version. You merged the two perfectly.

  • UGH they're so good. This legitimately sounds like a studio recording.

  • stop cursing BLA BLA BLA

  • calm down everyone. Some people like justin bieber some people like the beatles. So what? stop trashing other artist's some people like them others dont oh well suck it up:)

KEEP THE PEACE! and the music alive♥

  • @jeanielennon456 Yeah! Peace please! No fighting on Beatles videos they are sacred ground.

  • How Pefrect Is Paul Geroge nd AARingos Face?

  • @RingoStarrForLife1 What about John? He is hot too.

  • Love John's head bob 00:45 lol He always had an incredible voice.

  • AWESOME VOCALS

  • I want a ticket for a ride in the year 1964 :|

I would give so much to see The Beatles live only for one time in my life...

  • @BaltFret im 14 and wuld die to se dem ! xD

  • @crazitonight I'm 16 ;)

  • this is not HQ

  • how about PAULS VOCAL...

  • @Marcelocelligoi fuckin rock!!!!!!!

  • She's got a ticket 2 ride but she don't care ;)

  • I love Paul's vocal harmony on this song.

  • This is the version that appears in The Beatles Anthology. The ' cuts ' were done to illustrate Paul McCartneys assertion that when they played 'live' they strove to get as close to the recorded or studio version as possible.

It was written and recorded for, and features in the film ' Help ' which was released in 1965. The Beatlles last performance as part of a tour was in Candlestick Park, San Francisco in 1966. Their last performance as a live band was rooftop gig.1969. London

  • The Beatles were a smashing hit in the 50's and still today. When i went to New York, i saw John Lennen's Imagine Tomb!!!! But it is a tradgedy :( *sigh*

  • It was 66 ur wrong buddy they stopped touring in 66 not 65

  • I was on a train once and the conductor tried to kick a lady off. I sang out "She got a ticket to ride!" every one loved it.

Not really, but it would be cool. o_0

  • it was recorded in 1965 ye dope......they stopped touring in the end of that year aswell coundnt of been 66'

  • Hey, diggin' on the live track, then suddenly it cuts away to studio tracks? Where is the full length video without the cuts... anybody know?

  • I truly adore John Lennon's voice. My favorite voice ever.

  • i love that high harmony.

  • Was meaningful to me in 1985 when my mother left my Dad...

  • HERMOS AEPOCA

    EXISTE HOY DICEN POR AHI

  • This so stoopid. It so obvius they rip off Justin Bieber cause they copy the haircut and this sound so much like somethin Justin would write.

  • @JamesTKirkCobain excuse me: when were you born? yesterday? These guys started their career in the 1960's! Justin, who ever he is-spare me his tunes- isn't dry behind his ears yet

  • @JamesTKirkCobain Epic troll is epic xD

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH KIDS TODAY

  • A cassic! Ticket to Ride live!! They were so exciting, the songs and the singers. Nothing had been heard like it up to that point. They were truly the next step after Elvis, and they held their own, 4 working class stiffs from Liverpool.

  • Great song

  • theirs something about the way john and Paul sing together

  • John looks sooooooo gorgeous!

  • @duffh thank you!

  • @duffh one of the best performances of ALL TIME.

  • @duffh Very Skillfully. Good on them!!

  • @eightdaysaweek111 The Blackpool show was from August, 1965 2 weeks before they did the same songs on the Ed Sullivan Show

  • rest assured....there never was, or will there ever be, another like them...

  • Paul's voice harmonised with John's pretty damn well :D

  • They nothin i hate more when a band rip off a Joans brothers song then try to make it look old by filming i in black and white. WHAT ASSHOLES

  • lol uh why does it cut to a completely different performance of the song like 2/3rds through?

  • @jjws so that it doesnt get taken off, like the other three i uploaded. sorry if it bothers you

  • i know its very expoencive. im getting one a poper left handed one for about £1,200 wich is a bout $2,000

  • Ringo Star ,the drummer, and Paul are stil alive....George died a few years ago because of cancer and John died a while ago because he was shot to death.

  • @obi1fan Although John's son Sean and George's kid Dhani are musicians, so TECHNICALLY, they could bring back the Beatles, but it would never be the same.

  • ringos alive

  • A song about a breakup maybe?...

  • THEY SOUND FAB LIVE!

  • very impressive quality to be honest

  • almost like the original version, they were fabulous

  • how about JOHNS VOCAL...

  • @sunriseRISE john had a great gritty rock voice...totally underrated for how good it was when he sang like that...it's REALLY noticeable on "rock and roll music".

  • WOW. They sound amazing live in the vid.

  • i would imagine whoever wrote the song its about a girl leaving for school or something whatever glorious song none the less its too bad micheal jackson's family is racking in all the money off this rockband nonsense
