  • lol some good comments involving how good there response is?! i just watch these for the noises!!!! I LOVE FIRE TRUCKS :D

  • @wrcraftgamers The noise is essential AND remember, they're not out there joyriding making noise cause they ran out of things to post on Facebook or some kid's kitten climbed a tree and is stuck up there.. They on there way to fight the devil in a house that's burning to the ground in a different every time and unknown situation where it's 2,000 degrees inside if the place is engulfed with fire. Look at the videos of the houses burning up and U will learn this and never forget it. Love U guys.

  • @737mattman in florida you need to take EMT,and a fire academy. Then paramedic doesnt hurt to get.

  • I sure cant wait to be a fire fighter!

  • i knew this road looked familiar i live less than an hour from here

  • good use of the horn coming to intersections sometimes stupid people don't get out of the way

  • TENNESSEE

  • 1:44 is that green truck volunteer?

  • F**king neat video man, love the first person perspective.

  • Was that a POV to your station at 1:43?

  • im sorry but i drive that route in less than 4.27 most days

  • Is that the Hampton Inn?

  • @20 sec That is how you clear an intersection!

  • thats how to use the Q and horns

  • I see some people haven't read the description

    This is in Sevierville, TN.

I'm going down to this station again, I might try to get some videos while I'm down there. I know the new Titanic attraction just opened up, and tourist season is upon us so I may try and get some video of the crazy weekend traffic.

  • HES GOING PRETTY SLOW

  • At around 1:41, was that a POV pickup that passed you in the opposite direction? Great video!

  • @DHaywardMA Was about to ask the same question, and yes, I assume so.

  • seet serviervill tn i love that place

  • @cpmusicman nice i live in Red Lion PA, south of york, is this video in PA?

  • no i found i out it is my vacation spot of serviervill tn well i vacation in gatlinburg wich is only 2 towns to the east but i go to serviervill every now and then it is right off i 40 but here it is 81 and if ya never been there before ya should sometime it is really nic but i prefer i 81 and i 40 not the blue ridge parkway

  • never mind i live that place even though i got extreme home sickness there last year p.s my dad makes us take the 3 day drive down the blue ridge parkway when we can take a 9 hour trip on 81 then 40

p.s i live in harrisburg pennsylvania

  • is that tn cause that is where i vacation

  • love your use of the Q and horns nice!!

  • :21 hahahha what the hell

  • looks like the guy at 1:44 missed the truck haha

  • It depends on the state in PA FF's through Captain are only allowed to run blue and Chief and Asst. Chief are allowed to run Red with sirens. But the blue light is only a courtesy light so you technically don't have to move for it but most people do.

  • Very nice job of entering the intersection with horns a' blowin' and sirens blaring!

  • What's a commercial occupancy call?

  • commercial occupancy call??? i work for FD but ive never heard of that.

  • Yea it;s anything more then 1 storer

  • what was with the pick up truuck at 1:45?

  • prob a volunteer responding in a pov to the station or hq

  • pov responder. were allowed to have lights in our own cars. me, i personaly have a 05 mustang with a red led bar, strobe and led hideawayas and a powercall. and i get called a whacker alot :D

  • Isn't it a federal law that you arent allowed to have red lights on your pov

  • It can't be federal law because many rural volunteer firefighters outfit their POV's so they can respond safely. In a case like that, you wouldn't want them running around like racecars without the ability to warn people. I'm sure there are states that restrict their use though.

  • no. its department bi-laws. in my dept, captain plus has red lights, and can run a siren. im captain, so i can

  • No it is not. You have to get a permit from you state DMV to have and use for fire service though

  • That law is regarding NON emergency vehicles. Volunteer Fire and Full time Fire Fighters are permitted by law to use them. IE if you are a civilian who does not work for the fire department you best not get caught with them on your car.

  • State of MA allows you to have a Red Light permit with permission of the Chief, which is granted through the RMV

  • pov

  • Yes i agree great response! What kind of truck do you have?

  • sevierville is in tennessee..im pretty sure theyre department is a half and half department..half vollie half paid

  • what state is this? nice response btw. safe and efficient

  • God bless firefighters

  • @five0fan omg.. god... god.. god???!

  • No just red

  • @1kallogs lime green fire trucks too some times

  • nice video

do they use blue lights on fire trucks there?

  • depends on the state. some states have red only, some states have red and blue.

  • Perfect use of the Q2B and air horns. Very safe response. Thanks to the pick up driver at :09 seconds for doing the right thing.

  • @DTMRM8 Lol he didn't have much of a choice it was either be dumb and play chicken with a fire engine or save his own life and get out of the way option number 1 shouldn't even be an option really lol

  • Is that a volunteer firefighter I see at 1:40?

  • he was going the wrong way thou

  • Station to make a truck of people?

  • Yes. Hes a volunteer with the Sevier County Fire Department, they were paged to assist the city and was responding to the station.

  • i love vids like this

  • an eagle cant see an led. they suck !!! but they are cheap. it's clear who ever makes them , safety is the last last thing on there agenda

  • I like the new LEDs on the all the cop cars now, They're very bright...

  • depends on the department most vol depts in country okay in my area they have lights and sirens raidos on personal cars but most paided forces no libality

  • Where is sevierville?

  • East Tennessee, close to Gatlinburg

  • @1kallogs when in europe, i noticed a cool thing. their traffic lights have green, yellow, red, red/yellow. when it is red/yellow, you know it is changing to green in a sec, that way you dont have to step on it when it suddenly turns green like here in the usa

  • @ballm0use Thats bullshit... it turns ORANGE when it's almost red, it doesn't turn ORANGE when it's getting green lol

  • @lennartjuhh i didnt say it turned orange before it turns green, i said it turned orange and red before green.

  • @ballm0use ok well this ''when it is red/yellow, you know it is changing to green in a sec'' disturbed me, but then its the same in USA right?

  • @lennartjuhh nop thats the whole point, it is best in europe, in usa it just changes from red to green with no warning, so people get upset and start honking because it is harder to know when it turns green.

  • @ballm0use @ 0:22 it looks like they have 3 lights, whats the 3rd hole? But yeah, that sucks!

  • @ballm0use thats bull shit in america we get upset because we have an idiot in front of us thats paying attention to every thing else except the light and their have been times i have at a light two or three minutes after the light changed because the person in front of me was to busy talking on their phone or texting or doing whatever. The way are lights are programed do not need to change. What needs to change are the idiots behind the wheel!!!!!!!

  • @cincom83 horn the car in front?

  • @1kallogs going there in less than a week!!!

  • @1kallogs Near Dolly Parton

  • @k0smon yes it is very close actually you come out of pigeon forge(where dolly parton is) and end up in sevierville i went to their station its nice

  • good question can you guys not respond to scene with you own car if you have your gear or do you have to respond to station?

  • Great response!

Just a suggestion, and I know it's the last thing on your mind when going to a fire, if you turn off the auto focus it will stay within a set focus range and it won't drift in and out of focus while you are driving.

  • cool

  • at 1.44 in clip whats with the truck with red and white

  • looks like the light bar reflecting of the windshield

  • its not

  • I kinda wanna know why people gave me thumbs bown. lolol

  • Old school? We don't have opticom we just got lucky all the lights turned in our favor. In the winter time, and especially on the weekends (Fri and Sunday) these roads are hell with tourist both going in and out of the smokey mountains.

  • You guys are old school. It looks like you dont have OPTICOM for the traffic lights?

  • sooo we dont either! the only ppl that do that is prob. the big citys

  • Great bunch of guys. I have met several over the years visiting the area. They have a very large coverage area.

  • If my station had to travel that far for just one call, I'd have to jump out of the truck while it's moving, hahaha

  • what up with that POV at 1:44 ?

  • ummm going to the station to get another unit

  • My god that siren is terrible

  • i like when we on sirens and dun folo rules = = dats fun

  • very good camera revolution!!!

  • resolution??? lol

  • vive la revolution? ;-)

nevertheless you´re right....nice vid, filmed with a good cam... :-)

  • the Opticoms?

  • with a truck that size you need to use alot of air horns at lights because you will get the one idiot that wont be payin attention and pull out and get hit....causing another accident

  • so you dont think that was an overkill?

  • no its better to use too much than too little and hurt or kill someone because you didnt

  • That and it sounds AMAZING! I love the good old Q

  • not at all

  • Great Vid, Use to live in Knoxville. The hotel at 2:17 on the right is the one I stayed at and I know exactly where this fire was. Love the Vid and hope to see more!

  • u going to post anymore videos?

  • great vid awesome i like how u guys use caution at every light and the use of the Q2b good job

  • Verry nice!

  • This is in Tennessee, 50 miles outside of Knoxville Tn. Around 10 miles outside of Pigeon Forge, Dolly Wood, and Splash.

  • I use to live in this city

  • Which state is this?

  • very cool

  • Nice video. Too bad the Engine didn't pick one side or the other to allow the truck room to get in closer.

    Thanks for posting!

  • 1kallogs: how large is your coverage area (population and square miles)? How many Companies in your FD? Your department has some LOOOONG responses. Stay safe.
