  • @ TDW979. Weak as in turns over slowly. Mine sat for a month with no charge and was just started today. Turned over slowly, though did finally start, music to my ears.

  • Great vid, my first bike a used '08 Yama R6. The battery appears weak due to me not riding it for nearly a month, I was wondering is this something I can fix with a jump start or should I look into getting a new battery w/ a trickle charger to ensure this doesn't happen again? Any advice from you or any reader would be greatly appreciated.

  • @ThatDayumWood979 I would try charging it and take it for a ride. If it still seems weak then replace.

  • @Addicted2Killn Can't get it started, is my first problem. What are signs of the battery being "weak"? Having the same issue repeatedly?

  • Hi!! Nice video!! But I think you switch the order to disconnect and connect the battery, in the service manual, they tell to disconnect first ne black (negative pole) and after the red (positive pole). To connect the new battery, the sequence is opposite, first the red and later the black... But I don´t know why, I´m not an specialist as well... Thanks anyway!!

  • @TheMtkiller Thanks, glad you liked it! Although the old battery was dead, for the sake of the vid I should have disconnected the neg cable first. Thanks for pointing that out. I may end up doing the vid over as I've left the bike in storage and didn't charge the new battery. lol

  • It's been a while since I've seen a video from you. Can't wait for your latest rides. Thumbs up.

  • @Geezart1982 If only i lived closer to the track or at the track. lol
