  • and the all important sub woffer (BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM)

  • Sadly close to my sound/tv system :)

  • This is So TRUE !!!

    So awesome..

  • 1 person doesn't know how to install home theater systems properly

  • hahaha 1:28 there's a shoplifter...

  • I'm so glad I found this. I remember watching it before National Treasure 2 also. This is the best short animation!

  • This was the only thing I enjoyed when I went to see "National Treasure 2".

  • Goofy needs to buy a converter

  • Too bad Goofy forgot to invite Donald and Mickey to watch the game with him.

  • I can't believe he just knocks away the picture of Walt! Otherwise, A+!

  • Goofy = :D,  stupid teen sitcoms = >:{

  • I saw this right before Indiana Jones 4.

  • That's How To Hook Up Your Home Theater.

  • LOL!!! this video its like a deja vu, it incredibly funny. goofy definetly it's the best of Disney Characters

  • You know, if there really was an electronics superstore called Shiny Stuff, I would shop there all the damn time.

  • When and where is this from? Cause this is EXACTLY what I want Disney to make more of.

  • @eviljoel Disney prob made this because it aids the Movie Theater industry by discouraging ppl from getting home theater and coming to theaters. Im sure disney rarely make stuff that gains them enemies, like the home theater industry

  • When will Disney make more of these shorts?! This one was hilarious!

  • @imagineerboi Disney will make shorts like this again when the movie theater chain owners are willing to play 6-10 minute cartoon shorts before the feature films instead of lame commercials and trailerss to mediocre movies.

  • 4:33 sub woofer ahahahaha

  • Just got a new TV the other day. 2:18 is excactly how i reacted too. LOL

  • I really love the Goofy life lessons cartoons XD

  • On Goofy's shelf: a Walt Disney photo, a Clarabelle Cow portrait, a shot of Goofy's first appearance in "Mickey's Revue" as Dippy Dawg, a Goofy cupid statue, and a caricature of Pixar founder John Lasseter.

  • Other Disney in-jokes in this short:

-Cleo from "Pinocchio" appears in the fishbowl.

-The box that the home theater set arrives in is labeled "Dopey Digital" (as opposed to Dolby Digital).

-The moose head could be Melvin from the Country Bear Jamboree (at least it's probably a reference to that attraction).

-Goofy's cuckoo clock resembles the ski lodge that he stayed at in "The Art of Skiing".

-The football fields and whatnot reference "How to Play Football".

  • 1:30 a shoplifter (how'd Disney allow that??)

  • Most importantly this cartoon had the traditional Goofy Holler! Heard at 5:36.

  • Even the detail, such as the television box, labeled with "Dopey Digital" and

    "MIC-KEY MO-USE"

!!! I love this A LOT, and so did a lot of people on various Internet forums (even tech forums), saying pretty much everything the comments below have said (with the exclusion of how many went to see "National Treasure 2" specifically to see this, then leave). As an ex-Disney CM (Studios, not Parks & Resorts), I still feel apologetic for Disney Synergy.

  • I saw this before the previews at a movie and I couldn't stop laughing!

  • Dopey appears at 3:12!

Such a wonderful short! It's good to see Disney starting to do this again.

  • I was rolling on the floor in the theater. I love that they're bringing back cartoon shorts before features. It's almost like a mini time machine!

  • Too bad Warner Bros. can't try it out with people that actually understand the LTs, instead of worthless sitcom writers such as Larry Doyle that brought us LT: Back in Action...

  • Saw this before National Treasure 2, my group was laughing outloud, freaking out at every scene. The rest of the people were just sitting on their hands not laughing at Goofy; I was shocked.

  • Some people have just become humor-impaired by Friends, Seinfeld, and other shows that taught people you can't have comedy without profanity and gratuitous sex talk!

What I want to know personally is: I also saw this with National Treasure 2. WHY DIDN'T IT COME ON THE DVD!?!?!?

  • lol

  • Goofy got introduced to Blu-rays and Dvds lol So far...this is one of the best Goofy cartoons I've seen.

  • 3:47

I can so relate to that joke...

  • they should make more this junk than Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers

  • Great vid. Too bad there's that super annoying spam at the top. :(

  • Who's the tiny-head guy at 4:44?

  • It's a caricature of John Lasseter. He's a major person in Disney, he was one of the people who started Pixar, and now he's in charge of Disney animation.

  • I somehow knew it was him o-o

    Thanks for clarifying it :D

  • so....what your saying is that in a way, pixar overtook disney.....because lets face it, modern disney DEPENDS on pixar

  • Not really in a way, they just are... but who's complaining??? hah

It's still Disney, they just have new leadership that's a whole lot more like what Walt Disney used to do.

  • i dunno, a character in a movie hasnt sung a song yet with pixar around.......

  • They're going back to musicals with the princess and the Frog... not all movies are fit to be musicals, Pixar and Disney are different in that way, but they have very similar ideologies when it comes to making animated movies.

  • I think your getting to the point that Pixar will overrun disney as the father company as did Disney did with RKO a long time ago if im correct?

  • to be honest i didnt know about that, and im just saying disney doesnt rely on itself anymore

  • amazing, hopefully with lasseter they'll continue making good films!

  • Fantastic toon. Disney needs to make more of this kinda stuff.

  • I have been DYING TO SEE THIS!!!

    THANK YOU!!!!!

  • How wonderful! WE NEED MORE!!!

  • Love the Walt Disney and John Lasseter reference at 4:44

  • This one is excellent. And so true

  • This is Goofy's first cartoon short in 42 years!

Unless we count Soccermania and the MouseWorks cartoons.

  • Agreed, Classic =]

  • classic

  • @kite4734 Except this is fairly recent, so in that case, let's call it "Neo-classic"
