And when they do get hurt, it's an accident. And those don't happen very often. In UFC or Boxing, when they get hurt, it was done completley purposley....

Beside entertainment, pro wrestling moves and holds are taught to be efficent if applied for real, at least the ones that does not require cooperation by the opponent (vertical suplex, and the likes), proof? Ken Shamrock started as Pro wrestler, then MMA, Dos caras Junior, (aka Alberto del rio) Sakuraba (the Gracie hunter) Takayama, Dan severn, and others

The big show is indeed 500 lbs, either way they're lifting the weight with momentum is helping or not.

That being said it's not in the same league as UFC and nor do I think is UFC "real" either. If Danna White wants his sport to be taken seriously he needs to allow his fighters to fight pride fighters.
