Even i am a Roger´s fan, this commercial is funny, but substantially WRONG. You can´t said so easily that federer is best than Sampras ( even I personally think that) or The goat. It is a very debatable subject, which, yes, in fact roger has the stats on his side but it is not a induspitable truth and i really hate that nike ( who was sampras sponsor) do this marketing thing(even when sampras says it´s ok and earns a couple of millons for his cartoon) to subjugate sampras tennis figure

My friend, only logic matters... it's getting hard to speak against Roger's status - that's figurative language. Roger must not be regarded as being the greatest player of all times for his titles and reccords because victories, though necessary, are not a sufficient element to crown him.

What makes Federer stand above all is the mastery of his art; his prowess of being able to stand offensivly and remain dominant in all situations, playing all strokes and al ltactics possible.

And, we must also consider his execution form; he's not running, nor hitting - it's way beyond physical effort; it's becoming a beauty one must appreciate with his mind. Like the Renaissance artist which endeavoured to rise their art beyond the sense, beyond the physical world, Federer takes tennis where it can only be admired by a cognitive recognition - understanding the stroke in its essence.

This ad is sooo funny! The first time i saw it i laughed 'Take one swiss man...auuu tiiii!' and he is a cheese? LOL okay...'equal to or greater than' pete sampras...LOL good stuff, federer is definitely the best in the world atm, what a champion he is....VIVA ROGER FEDERER!!

i wonder what sampras thinks of this ad, i mean, its one thing to discuss that federer is better than sampras... but its another to just say he is on a TV.

I think Sampras is the first to acknowledge it as a fact, but to the point of being convinced...

All I can say is that Pete is a great gentlemen and a very classy guy and that he did said mroe than once that this guy was the best. Even if the guy never intended to lower anyone and is humble, Sampras always seemed to be honest and I doubt he'd lie about what he thinks.

Both great champions anyway and I don't think he is insulted to be compared to Federer and same goes for Federer.
