i had a Maine Coon cat named Tinkerbell once but i had to have her put down cause she went blind and the vet said that she was going to die in 2-3 days.mine quit eating her catfood and drinking water and she lost weight and when i had her put down she only weighed 5 lbs.
I'm sorry for you loss. I had a Maine Coon cat myself. His name was Sydney. He passed away last January. He had similar markings like Max. Seems funny though....the squeaky little meow coming out of a big cat. I will always miss Sydney.

What a wonderful tribute to an awesome Maine Coon! I, too, have experienced the loss of three of them, but I have three again. Long live the Gentle Giants; there are simply no cats to compare them to! Their "voices" are so unique -- I love the squeaks and subtle barks they do. Anyone who hasn't had the awesome experience of these magnificent cats could never understand how incredible they really are. Thanks for posting, and I hope you have gotten a new baby by now.
My best wishes for you and the memory of your beloved Maine Coon. I have found out the hard way how devastating it can be to lose prized pet. Another kitty is out there just waiting for a kind person like you to give it a home. Hopefully another Maine Coon, their is no finer pet!

I agree completely. So sweet they are. I used to have Siamese, which I loved, but Maine Coons are so much easier to live with ... much more soothing creatures.

I am so sorry for your loss; what a beautiful kitty Max was! Such a sweet meow; he meowed a lot like my Maine Coon, "Cajie" ("Cajun"). Also my male Coon, "Ouizer". Both were big cats, but they both had this tiny, delicate meow that charmed me every time!! Adorable vid; added to playlist! :)
Thank you so much! ... "delicate" and "charming" are great words to describe Max's meow. Some viewers might not be so understanding ... the same thing over and over. But it's all I have left of his sweet meow, and after he passed away I just wanted to hit the replay over and over.
