I remember about a week before he passed, me and him just sitting in grandma's garage with the turntables. It was pouring rain and there was a lot of thunder. He said he needed to finish a mix before he left (I'm assuming it was this one). He got preoccupied with trying to teach me how to DJ (He's been trying since I was about 7...) But it was one of the most peaceful experiences I'd ever had. In our hometown, middle of a storm, me, him and the music...a little like old times.- Kaitlyn Gilchrist
