  • it is the guy from halmstad that you meet, Sadat.. // a taekwondo fan

  • pleas some one tell me what chanel the olympics are going to be on?

  • @Mixi007 I guess yu can get sum vids from TkdRevolutionTkd

  • danger nerd, u wanker, if he now would died, that's the risk u'll have to take, and he didn't disrespect him,. he just looked back at him, turning his back at him? wtf when u KO someone like that in TKD u gp to ypur side of the "ring" and wait. U can't judge him for kicking so god damn hard. Go play with ur dolls, ok?

  • who edited this, a monkey?

  • hey your all stupid... see in a real fight id bring an axe. my favrate red one too then whip all dat hapkido love out. Silly billys for arguing

  • too much emphasis on making this match seem like an all out brawl. Decent kick though, from what I can tell from my chair.

  • Good job with the ko. But it shows that color dont mean sqwat. Ive seen alot of poser blackbelts that look like they went to ebay to get their belt and not in the dojang.

  • odd editing

  • Being KOed by a lower rank is not shamwful. It shows that the lower rank was just doing what he was trained to do. If anything, if you ever recover, you should stand up and shake the opponent's hand because they "enlightened" you. I've been KOed a few times by my students, and I'm proud of them for doing that.

  • I know the black belt probably just got his black belt, but if I got knocked out by red and I was a black belt that would be too emberassing

  • that kinda is what your supposed to do ko him out and then wait to see if he still wants some more

  • Unbelievable disrespect and poor sportsmanship... turning his back in disgust toward a possibly dead opponent should have not disqualified him, but his school should have immediately dismissed him as unfit for the art.

  • lol, that's what you're supposed to do.

  • I am sorry. I didn't realize the lack of sportsmanship was part of the training. My apologies.

  • No--it's not disrespect.

It's once you do that, you're supposed to turn towards your master and wait until your opponent is fine--he was showing great respect since he turned to see if the opponent was fine...

But that was what you were supposed to do in a situation like tat

  • Thank you for clarifying that. Must be a Korean MA thing. If I were to do this, it would mean that he had shamed me by being an unworthy opponent.

Doing what he did here, means "you are dead to me" and/or "you have dishonored me"

I can see this causing problems in inter-art competitions.

Maybe it isn't a Korean thing, since I don't recall this from Hapkido.

Oh well, thanks for the explanation anyway.

  • I thought I had read this in the WTF tae kwon do rules, but I don't see it in retroscpect...either way, you're supposed to at least go to the other side of the ring. It's the same procedure when scores are being collected and the judges are deciding the winner. The ring judge WILL make you stay away from the fallen opponenent
