I appreciate the whole video. It is the whole video that is part of the lost art. Thank you Ahonick. I am told we have blackfoot in our family and proud.
allright, i WAS gonna watch your video but i had to tap out after about 3 minutes, because your birds and that horrible kung fu panda music was threatening to turn my hair grey! you might be a great artist, i will never know, but you cant be a very good teacher if the people you try to teach are finishing their suicide notes 3 minutes in. good bye.
What a lovely peaceful wortk of art. I am touched by the symbolism of the artist and her movement through the piece. Later, I awoke with a start... I almost exclaimed aloud... beautiful person! Please! You must put a shield around that belt on the sheave! It will sieze you! Snare you! And wind you into oblivion! Hurry!!
This is what I plan to do with my estrogen and anti-androgen atrophied cojones! After they get as small as possible and I have vaginoplasty, I will cast those suckers into a most darling, stunning, dressy and glamorous pair of earrings cast in precious metal and adorned with gemstones...finally and permanently putting them to practical use! As such, they will serve as a constant reminder of my total femininity as well as a delightful conversation piece,at parties, in women's restrooms, etc! .
Watch the 3 part series. It is very good. Just skip the bird part if you want. What was the rubber mold compound? I want to buy some, but I am not sure what it is. Thanks.

Very interesting way of presenting this method as an art. I knew it was used for bronze sculptures -I've seen many videos, but the overal details in this video make it, truly, worth watching.
@palehorsepalerider your comment made me laugh out loud so hard i choked on my drink! LOL i agree i came here for the casting video not a fucking spiritual journey LOL
This is not the casting video of an industrial component, this is the casting video of a piece of art. It's totally different, If you don't like it, just don't watch it.
I could not stay awake.

Generally the carving medium is wax and the 'foam' is like a Plaster-of-Paris
