I think sarah g is better off singing songs like The Sound of Music or something and making cutesy feel good movie. It suits her aura and personality. She's a sweet girl din't get me wrong. But Charice is on a whole different level. The girl is tough and she has the moves that grooves. Probably because Charice is somewhat boyish and girlish at the same time. Honestly speaking, ive tried to watch Sarah G performs fast songs and dance. Even the tough numbers that requires her to have an attitude... And for some reason i cringe inwardly while watching her. It doesnt really suit her. Probably because she's too tall making her movement seems like dangly, and her face is so demure looking. It just does suit her well. Charice on the othet hand is awesome and extraordinarily cool! Its always fun to watch her. She raps so well and dance so well!:D

5/30/06 almost 5 years ago. She's been singing big songs to win singing contests. Now 2/14/11 she has her own songs,some written for her by the legendary David Foster. I don't know what people want, for her to keep on singing other singer's song or perform song written specially for her. She's trying to keep everybody happy, still sings Whitney and Celine songs in addition to her own songs. Let's just be happy for her.
The only singer of our time that never fails to evoke Goosebumps in me in a major, major way.
Of course there were Maria Callas and Luciano Pavarotti of the operas.
But to have a pop singer shake your nerves, your emotions, lo, even your soul; that is what Charice has been doing.
Charice singing this at at that tender age is awesome. And she has vastly improved since. And I won't dare imagine what Charice will still achieve. It will only blow my mind away.

She is so versatile that she sings from the lowest register to the highest and holds that high note very harmoniously with so much emotions and vocal control. I think sarah g is better off singing songs like The Sound of Music or something and making cutesy feel good movie. It suits her aura and personality. She's a sweet girl din't get me wrong. But Charice is on a whole different level. The girl is tough and she has the moves that grooves. Probably because Charice is somewhat boyish and girlish at the same time. Like Fergie if blackeyed peas :)

Honestly speaking, ive tried to watch Sarah G performs fast songs and dance. Even the tough numbers that requires her to have an attitude... And for some reason i cringe inwardly while watching her. It doesnt really suit her. Probably because she's too tall making her movement seems like dangly, and her face is so demure looking. It just does suit her well. Charice on the othet hand is awesome and extraordinarily cool! Its always fun to watch her. She raps so well and dance so well!:D

5/30/06 almost 5 years ago. She's been singing big songs to win singing contests. Now 2/14/11 she has her own songs,some written for her by the legendary David Foster. I don't know what people want, for her to keep on singing other singer's song or perform song written specially for her. She's trying to keep everybody happy, still sings Whitney and Celine songs in addition to her own songs. Let's just be happy for her.

Of course there were Maria Callas and Luciano Pavarotti of the operas.
But to have a pop singer shake your nerves, your emotions, lo, even your soul; that is what Charice has been doing.
Charice singing this at at that tender age is awesome. And she has vastly improved since. And I won't dare imagine what Charice will still achieve. It will only blow my mind away.

I remember her guesting on a town fiesta(San Pablo City) I knew her even before because I saw her on Little Big Star, She's from the same province where I live; Laguna. but I didn't watched her but my cousins did, they said she was amazing... Every aspiring singer has their own share of exposure. Why weren't they chosen? That's their problem, not mine, and not yours. But is it fair? maybe no. But nothing is, anyway.
Bear in mind that they chose Charice for a reason, after witnessing thousands of others.

She is so versatile that she sings from the lowest register to the highest and holds that high note very harmoniously with so much emotions and vocal control. And isn't it PH singers perform on TV and concerts? Then, they have the necessary exposure however that's not what makes and defines a STAR.
