Would it be ethically right to build a teleportation device that does not send you to the other side, but instead makes a clone of you from the entrance to the exit and kills your original self? Would you still be the same person? What would happen to your consciousness? Would it be copied or transferred? What do you think?

I have been thinking about the same thing, as current "teleportation" experiments with light destroys the orginal light and creates a copy.

Honestly, I think the best way might be to create cloned bodies lacking brains, and to teleport the brain is merely taken out and kept alive and shipped I supposed, to remove any risk of removal of consciousness.
