just to make things a bit more clear, I did'nt use netcat in this video, it was just a telnet connection to another pc... in your case it is correct, when its 0.0.0.0 9999 it is in listening mode... when the connection is established it will be 192.168.1.25 9999 .. also you could make your internal ip static so it will never change for example set port forwarding in the router to 192.168.1.25 and then go to network connections on your pc, properties ,open TCP/IP enter all the ip's manually.
just need help ....see i have a router and i want to port forward a specific port for winshell and i tried port forwarding through router ...through firewall but the main problem is...when i do netstat -an it shows
0.0.0.0 9999 listening....
and i want it as
192.168.1.25 9999 on the listening state.....
and i have a dynamic ip ....
is there any way other than netcat.....do help me about this bro.
telnet wasn't even used...

How can u connect without the other pc logging off?
playithott 3 years ago
I think if you have the same user name you can log him off, but im not 100%sure, and if you want to keep the remote user online , just use vnc.
