Quick time events, wonky animations, odd character design...

It seems like the people in charge don't really get what the series is about.

Still, I does look fun and inventive. I'd like to try it if I ever got the chance.

Personally though, I'd prefer an X style game with a ZX style interconnected world layout

There was nothing really wrong with Sonics new games, other than Shadow (which was derived from fan ideas, go figure), the Black Knight and the rushed 2006 (Which wasn't Sonic Team's fault) the rest of them aren't bad. Prime example of whining is in Unleashed. Somehow the Werehog stages were retarded, though being heavily similar to the popular GoW. The general consensus is that Sonic fans don't know what they want, and complain about the tiniest things.

But what I mean to say is that the concept of a Sonic game with guns and a morality system was a good idea, but it was executed horribly, especially the morality system. When you make a morality game, you shouldn't use morality as the method to choose which 6 short levels you play through, it should be used to test someone's morality and show them counsequences for good and evil actions. Like Bioshock's Little Sisters.

Doesn't look very innovative. That's what these megaman games are lacking. Innovation. One of these days they're going to stop making megaman games because they'll become too repetitive.

They gotta ditch the platformer megaman and do something else. (and no don't say legends, MM legends was almost as bad as the starforce garbage)

Having grown up with Megaman since MM1 the series has been very disappointing thus far. Very sad IMO.

@Astaticembrace Dude Capcom is making it. The guys from S4 are just helping. The effects are decent, the gameplay atleast rocks and this is just PRE-RELEASE videos.

They will make a new layout for sure and update some effect.

The gameplay looks epic and fun atleast.

I was really into this game even though it looks like they're taking X8's game engine and making it even more loose and difficult to control and adding very dumb moves like that one that makes you jump so you can shoot the ground, quite CLEARLY making you get hit by enemies you cant cause hitstun to, and then they introduce sting chameleon and i'm like FUCK YEAH STING CHAMELEON and then they zoom out and I'm like WHAT THE FUCK- BRUUUUREEEAAAOOOOUUUUUGH MUWAHAHAHAHAHA MUAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I hate how choppy the jump and dash animations look.  And I am only assumng that X's shot is so slow because the character has crappy parts?

I miss how fast the gameplay was in MMX1-6. I think the highly graphical enviroments destroyed the game. I missed abstract futuristic technological backgrounds with lights and darkness and odd machines or organice machine compounds.

i really like that gameplay, but the tail swing was just pointless, i mean, you just expect a Final Strike and the boss exploding or something like that, but no a stupid tail swing and the enemy stucked in the wall.

@LightCodeDemonH: Guess he did, but X Droopy-slammed Chameleon first, then Mario-tail-swung him into a giant tree trunk. This looks amazing. I really like X's special weapons, especially that series of whirlwind kicks.
