Mystic Gohan fails due to lost of SSJ power. In the end [Adult] Gohan sucks. Teen Gohan is still the only good one. After Cell their is no real gohan. @BeatVu Not true. Goku was a pure blooded saiyan, so his desire to train and keep fighting never died. Gohan's human half simply took precedence over his saiyan half at one point. That's not a bad thing, he's half human, you can't expect him to train forever. Pure saiyans have the competitive drive to train and fight forever, it is what they do. But humans succumb to relaxation and retirement, Gohan was no different. In the end he'd fight to defend the weak, that's what dragonball is all about.

@UltamateSharingan actually he gains coolness. who needs yet another "omg super saiyan soo strong"? hes basically ssj with black hair anyway cos old kai tells him to go ssj and he turns mystic instead. so its like black haired ssj really. it makes perfect sense as transforming uses up energy. this way, gohan has no drawbacks and has access to his full power without needing to power up.

You say that's like SSJ3, but you apparently forget that they barely had any energy left. Everyone was standing on their last leg then they gave their tiny portion's of energy to Goku, which made him somehow strong enough to kill Broly. Broly was killed by a not even full powered SSJ, so Buu would toss Broly to the side like he was Hercule.

@BeatVu Not true. Goku was a pure blooded saiyan, so his desire to train and keep fighting never died. Gohan's human half simply took precedence over his saiyan half at one point. That's not a bad thing, he's half human, you can't expect him to train forever. Pure saiyans have the competitive drive to train and fight forever, it is what they do. But humans succumb to relaxation and retirement, Gohan was no different. In the end he'd fight to defend the weak, that's what dragonball is all about.

@UltamateSharingan actually he gains coolness. who needs yet another "omg super saiyan soo strong"? hes basically ssj with black hair anyway cos old kai tells him to go ssj and he turns mystic instead. so its like black haired ssj really. it makes perfect sense as transforming uses up energy. this way, gohan has no drawbacks and has access to his full power without needing to power up.

sigh okies heres the deal kids each time brolys been beaten theres been more than one super saiyan involved, the last one it was only two but still both previous times it was 4. any way super saiyan 1 is waaaaay weaker than super saiyan 2 or 3 in terms of power lvl. broly would get his butt whupped by fat bu who was in terms of power about super saiyan 2 but with bitchy regeneration to make him uber.

You say that's like SSJ3, but you apparently forget that they barely had any energy left. Everyone was standing on their last leg then they gave their tiny portion's of energy to Goku, which made him somehow strong enough to kill Broly. Broly was killed by a not even full powered SSJ, so Buu would toss Broly to the side like he was Hercule.
