@lonewulf2009 agreed, the wages of sin is death, not hell, a common error we see lots of, an ever loving God giving eternal punishment for a finite crime makes no sense, the sinners will just cease to be, even now none that are gone are in hell or have ceased, all wait unconsious, for the day of judgement, the Bible is very clear on that.
Hi , You know I have watched many of your videos and allways suspected you were a Christian. Sometimes the love of Christ just shows through without saying a word,at least if one has spiritual discernment. Great job on the video and I admire your courage. A pastor friend of mine once said a strong man will never stand taller than the moment he falls to his knees ! Thanks for sharing and I pray you will be blessed beyond measure. Sincerely your brother in Christ Jesus !
It doesn't take the mental scarring from mum's life, and the subsequent effect on me. It also doesn't heal the pain felt by his Wife of the time. He has only "cleaned up his act" for the fear of going to hell. NOT because he is a good person at heart. I believe a person should be good by nature, not just for the sake of avoiding Hell! What do you feel about this? I am not anti-religion AT ALL, but there are things which seem wrong which I would like to understand! Take care, Tinsnail.
Steve, I have just discovered this channel, though I used to watch every video you made on your AlmostHydrogen channel and have been missing your great videos. I personally am not Christian, but do believe in God. There is one thing that really bothers me: People becoming "born again". My Grandfather (Mum's dad) sexually abused my mum when she was little. He is now born again and acts as if this makes him innocent. If that's true, there's something really wrong with christianity.
I really like this video. I first started by looking at the ones on water storage and treatment, then I got to this one. I wanted to make a comment on this one. I have never done this before so I had to create an account but it was worth it. I am going to send/share this with others. Thanks!
wonderful job, I think that was one of the best presentations about sin and salvation I have seen in a while especially because it was from the heart. Keep up the good work and great witness
What a powerful ministry He has given you. You have a gift for speaking and are also are very believable. Some will heed and most will not. Very sad because we are living the end times that the Word of God warns us about. Jesus is our ONLY hope and salvation. I'm glad I'm saved!! God bless you Steve.
Steve I just found your video library here on youtube, and I find it very valuable. My wife, and me, are going to be purchasing our first firearm for the purpose of home defense. I just want to say thank you for providing a humble, reasonable, and intelligent collection of videos to help us all prepare. Many people think the worst thing possible is death. I think the worst thing possible is to die without having repented and accepting Jesus as our Savior. Keep SAR going borther.
Well the saying is true, you cant please everyone.
And aside from the ad hominem, thanks for stopping by and checking out my profile; I'm sure you will find someone on youtube that is more to your liking.
Well im just watching some of your first videos now and I wish i had watched them earlier. I pretty much know your way of thinking and beliefs from some of your other videos and Im very glade to see and know this. Their are far too many people in my daily life that need so much to come to gods word and stop living by our current culture. As a nation is it disturbing to see the trend we are taking and how much entertainment mind set steers our way of life.
Hey Brother, I've left a comment on this video before, but I just have to say, this is one of the most thought provoking and logical presentations of our relationship to God that I've seen. Thank you for posting~ God Bless you!
I like your videos, I have one issue. Whether or not you go to Hell is depending to your committed religion. I happen to be Catholic. I was taught throughout school that venial(every sin you mentioned/minor sins) that aren't confessed send you to Purgatory. Mortal(murder/serious sins) if not confessed send you to hell. If applied to a court of law, it could be looked upon as amnesty. That's my religion though. IMO, if you admit(in my case to a priest) your sins and are sorry, then you are fine.
Hmm... the bible says in 1 John 1:9 if we confess our sins to GOD, He is faithful & just & will forgive us of our sins.
IOW we do not need a priest cause Jesus Christ by His death on the cross was an acceptable sacrifice to God once & for all. When we repent & confess to God, He forgives us.
BTW Jesus nor His disciples ever taught purgatory.
Lots of probs w/ Catholicism when u compare it to the bible (btw I was catholic). Seek God, His word & not the traditions of men, if u want my opinion.
As I said before, it's all the opinions of every religion. Protestants exclude scriptures, Catholics use terms or states of being based on interpretations in the Bible. 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 is an example of evidence in the Bible that Purgatory may exist. As for priests, they along with the pope are representatives of God. Anyone can say a prayer, but it takes courage and knowing what you did was wrong in order to say it to a representative of God (priest). That's the Catholic belief.
I'm not trying to cause any trouble, it's just that people are taught things according to what their religion and what the Bible say. Sure, purgatory is never mentioned by name, but there's passages that hint its existence. What I'm saying is, I believe God will judge people according to religion. If you believe in HIM and lead a good life I see no problem. Again, I'm just saying that's my only issue/opinion, so don't be offended. I like the time and effort that you put into each of your videos.
Thanks for the comments and I guess it comes down to a phrase I learned in the military "only do what your rank can handle". If a person's rank/foundation is built on sand, then it wont be good for the home team. Thats why scripture tells us to Test Everything.
As for 1 Cor 3:10-15 as evidence of purgatory, thats pretty slim cause its out of context. If you read the whole chapter/book the topic is not purgatory at all, but thats just what I see.
i don't believe in the god that cares about every single thing you do, but i don't consider myself an atheist. something may or may not have created us, but regardless of any of that we are a species that can acknowledge our own consciousness and affect the enviroment around us, whether you believe in god or not we still are better off with good people in this world
we create our own realities of things, arguing beliefs is pointless and a waste of brain power
Why do all the patriots have to bring GOD into thier vids?? I enjoy gaining knowledge I do not have about survival and Emergency preparedness but damn, can't you guys check your beliefs at the door?
It is a part of who we are. If you don't like it, then go find an atheist who puts videos out about survival.
I support his right to express himself in his video how he sees fit.
He owns the videos and his channel and can put out what he wants on his videos. If you don't like it then go find someone who puts out videos you agree with 100%.
For those of us who believe in God, the times we are living in now is no surprise..Everything that is happening now was foretold thousands of years ago. Perhaps that's why so many survivalists & patriots talk about God..it's just a confirmation of what we already know.
Very interesting. Although I did not know or even think about the origin, the concept of church and state separation would be much older (one would think) than our country, perhaps even going back to the Romans.
That is wrong, as the Roman Emperior became a Christian he required people to become Christians.
That meant no seperation of Church and State.
The idea of seperation of church and state is twisted and not applied correctly by liberal activist judges.
It was not to make a State Religion, not that religion would have an affect on the State. In fact the founding fathers said without Christians in charge of our country we would not stay a Constitutional Republic.
I dont remember the song, but its one that comes with the iMovie HD software if that helps.
I started this channel 18 Dec 2008.
As for not passing it on to my other profile, well, I just got busy and hadnt gotten around to it. Perhaps I will make a vid for my hetgow subscribers informing them about this profile, we'll see.
Awesome analogy. You speak in a non judgmental, calm way about these biblical principles. I am in awe of your great preparation videos which are presented with commanding truth. Thanks brother.
There is no Hell other than what's here on earth made by the will of man by passing judgment on other men. Evil is by the will of man. There is only one true God that loves all mankind. God does not judge. Those who do not accept gods loves will not be saved in the afterlife. It is the free will of man to love god or not. This is what I believe. I know you and many others believe different and I respect that.
Well the God of the bible does judge; its clear you follow a different god, but that is your decision. I can only present what I have found in Jesus Christ.
Your levels are off.
