Die Originalität, Musikalität und Tonalität dieses Songs sind zeitlos. Manches mittelalterliche Lied ist ähnlich zeitlos, aber das hier ist schöner, uns vertrauter.

Stimmt, es hat etwas Mittelalterliches (by the way, checke mal mein Stück 'Medieval Picking' wenn du willst).

Zu der "Ära" dieses Songs habe ich öfters mal 3/4 Takt Lieder geschrieben. Das hat schon einen besonderen Touch.

Oh, it doesnt sound like him, but there is "something" there, but I cant put my finger on it. Like, this song could sit happily in "Euphoria morning" I think. It has a similar energy :). Can quite explain it, lol.

Yeah, Euphoria Morning is just great! I like Cornells solo album a lot! :) Also I loved his old Soundgarden stuff, great songwriting and arrangements/production.

Here's what I think: It's a decent over-all song. Vocals were good. Through most of the song,the same(monotonous) set of notes seemed to be played,over and over,which made me think,"when is this going to end??". It got better halfway through with the "na na"'s,but I felt there was no 'climax' to the song. The time between the high and low notes were too close. The notes did not seem to blend in(compliment) with each other;not very pleasing to the ears. 30 seconds of birds...

Thank you KingTulip :) Yes, the song doesn't have the usual structure of verse chorus verse which is also unusual for some listeners' ears. In fact it's meant to be that way. Instead of VCV the structure is P1 P2 P2 P1 P3 (bridge), then P4 (solo with different chords), ...

Yes, I knew what you mean. That's due to the English Conjunctive is build with past tense. But in german it's not possible this way. The only possible way is "...dass du so gut bist". Again and again interesting how languages actually differ =)
