The first car probably could have helped avoid the first hit, and possibly the second, if they were on the right side of the road. I know they were already sliding when they came into view, but the rest probably could have been avoided if others were on the right side of the road. If you stop video almost immediately after it starts (under 1st second), you'll notice scooter rider was already going down well before car crossed the double yellow line. Instead, appears car driver may have crossed into other lane hoping falling scooter would pass in front of him. But, given excess speeds of both scooters & times involved, nothing either car driver could have done to avoid this accident.

@187brendo Buddy, learn a bit about physics. Look at angle of scooter slide as it approaches car. Scooter was heading straight into the opposite lane, regardless of any traffic there. Second scooter, which did not hit that car, did the same. Further, first scooter had already gone down (on it's side as it enters video frame) well before car entered the lane, not as a result of that. Instead, car appeared to be turning into that lane to avoid the scooter already sliding towards his lane.

And look a bit harder, scooter boy lays his bike down just as car enters his lane, not before as you prefer to believe. If you had ever ridden a bike you would recognise this action, it is the first thing they teach you in riding school.

Also the scooter is still in his own lane when he hits the first car.

Car doesn't cross double yellow lines until after the scooter (on it's side) is visible. Now, unless that scooter rider is psychic (can predict the future), he did not go down as a result of anything done by the car AFTER his fall. Instead, the car driver was more likely responding to what the scooter was already doing - sliding in curve towards him. Enough said. Bye.

But even with the car straying across the middle, there is still plenty of room for the bike on his side of the road. The riders don't look to be going all that fast, the lead rider only lost control when the car crossed over the double lines into there path.

The first rider kept going , head first into the second car,while their bike bounced of the car into the path of the second rider. it is possible they were speeding a bit, but this looks to all have been cause by the first car that crossed the double lines into there path
