  • cont. 2, opened the curtains and only saw snow. I looked into the heavens and heard the sound of many chariot wheels, it sounded like when tanks are on the move, and a voice said "A war is coming." A few months ago I read the book "Heaven is for Real," and towards the end of this book the boy tells his father "A war is coming." The same message given to me last winter. There are only 2 more blows, alarming sound the enemy is approaching, and the Trumpet of G-d. We are about to go home.

  • I have heard the two sounds of the shofar already. The 1st was in 2010 while I was staying at the Mt. Zion Hotel, I heard the sound at 3:00 a.m., was told to get up, annoint myself, and go pray. I did so, and that morning G-d gave the most beautiful sunrise ever seen by anyone that worked in the hotel. The 2nd Shevarim I heard last winter 2011. Around 3:24-3:26 a.m., I was told to get up and look at my backyard. I hesitated, and again the voice repeated itself. I got up, opened the curtain

  • thats so cool : D

  • sounds like me when i first picked up the trumpet! :)

  • We are all one.

  • can you play "Flight of the Bumblebee" on that thing? lol

  • i had a dream about a trumpet blast, what does it mean when a rams horn trumpet is blown, and then only increases in volume? is it a war declaration? is it a warning blast? i am not Jewish so i have no clue what it means. i just know it was long and increaseing in sound to the point where i would imagine the whole world could hear it.

  • @IndigoPriest .. the sound is the Tekiah Gedolah that is usually sounded for about 15 seconds or more and increasing in volume. You can also get your responses at askmoses.com

  • THANK YOU DUPIEUX.

  • Thumbs up if @oizo3000 brought you here.

  • my descendants were jewish from italy but i was raised roman catholic..wish sometimes i learned the jewish religion..oh well...this was nice..sent shivers...thank you..

  • @darkstar0000001 ,, Are you still a practicing roman catholic ? If you are then please turn away from that belief system that prays to Idols because the very bible you have tells you that you should worship or pray to idols. Having been catholic before I know first hand ... I have friends that are catholic and they sound the shofar at their catholic church.

  • The 3dr blast reminds me of star trek when the enterprise is under attack by black space aliens

  • I Actually Blew a Shofar at My Church it was preety cool,For me it was kind of difficult to hit that high note.My sister did waay better then me but hey that is okay.

  • I am nort Jewish, and never will be one. But kind of like the sound of the shofar, Reminds me of the french horn.

  • @Bruno53ification Why would you say you would never be Jewish ? Are you a follower of Jesus ? Well you know he is Jewish :)

  • @ZECHRAH the same reason I am no Japanese and have nothing against them. What's the point? [Yes, I know Jesus was Jewish. But I am a deist and I reject most Christian doctrines. And Yoko Ono is Japanese. So what?]

  • @ZECHRAH to be a jew is to be kind to those that arnt we dont say you are wrong we dont say that we are right we merely practice what we believe in that is to be like god as thus the torah teaches.

  • @ZECHRAH yes but he started a new faith, just like buddha used to be hindu but founded buddhism, muhammed was a traditional bedhouin and founded islam, john calvin founded calvinism, luther the lutherans, one of the patriarchs of byzantium orthodox christianity, etc... and yes i know christianity and islam in all forms stem from judaism oh perfectionists sorry if some of my spelling is off ;)

  • Genesis 12:The Call of Abram

1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

  • Sounds like them Haradrim to me.

  • my friend this is a beautiful instrument. may i ask, how do you control the pitch?

  • @xn6The principal method for raising pitch is to reduce the effective vibrating mass of the upper lip. This is accomplished by an upward push of the bottom lip. As the upward pressure exerted by the bottom lip on the top lip increases, the amount of top lip tissue available to vibrate becomes progressively smaller, the top lip becoming more and more "immobilized" as those parts of it, especially nearest the mouthpiece rim, become relatively stationary.

  • This is so beautiful I love it. Thank you for this video.

  • THANK YOU FOR SHARING ---BARUCH HASHEM ADONAI-- HAPPY PESACH

  • Bless you my brother!

  • Thank you so much! We were just teaching our 10 children when we found your video. It might take us some time- but it's so great to laugh at and with each other while Remembering!

  • Thanks. We are studying this, new to the Jewish celebration and our newly found Jewish roots.

  • @studentinlearning ... Good food for the mind is a book by Alfred J. Kolatch "The second jewish book of WHY "

  • I am a devout Christian, but I felt the power of God through the sounding of the shofar and I believe in the spiritual significance of the shofar. God bless!

  • @TheAmazingamerica

    as in happy ?

  • @ZECHRAH yeah. this video was happy.

  • @ZECHRAH sort of happy, what do they paint those horns with?

  • @ZECHRAH As in he wishes that he was happy. Envious goyim like him just end up amusing me as far as I'm concerned.

  • @TheAmazingamerica man you give america a bad name. delete your account.

  • @happymerc U made me cry.

  • Very nice demonstration of the traditional Shofar soundings.

Obviously others are *possible* (you can blow in Morse code if you like!), but these are the ones used for Jewish services on the high holidays going back to antiquity.

  • @jgrossma

Keep in mind that yes these are used during the high holidays and tenet in Jewish culture.

  • Israel=the trembling cup of the world, all who touch her will be shaken. All eyes are being focused on her, just as the Holy Scriptures have prophesied thousands of years ago. That the world would unite against her so that G_D would cleanse the unholiness of the nations and false gods. The only culture that was specifically chosen and designed by G_D to reveal His will to mankind. Shalom!

  • How does the Shofar differ from a "viking horn?"

    Sounds amazing! Thanks for posting.

  • @John814 .. The Traditional Shofar horns were either horms from a Ram or Aftican Antelope known as the Kudu and both are considered Kosher to Kosher Food consumption. In the Viking horns are made from Oxen, Cows or Bulls which according to is not considered Kosher as the Children of Israel sinned in the wilderness with the Golden Calf incident. Therefore the only horn to use a Kosher Shofar.

  • How cool is that?

    What an awesome sound!

That's some real, Biblical stuff you've got going there!

  • Can you use a shofar made by a gentile? I'm thinking about buying a kudu horn and trying to make one.

  • @MitchMb14

    Too much work...

  • @ZECHRAH Too late. I made it already!

  • @ZECHRAH ...yeah what in the world was Our Great and Awesome G-D thinking?? Why would He ever expect us to do anything for Him....??? What?

  • Comment removed

  • @MitchMb14, Also, it would be rather small. Shofars are usually made of rams' horns.

  • @McBrannon1000 The one I made was 31 inches long. A ram's horn would be shorter but might have a larger bore. If I make another one I'll probably start with a larger Kudu horn, since bigger shofars fetch a higher price. In any case I was happy to sell my non-Kosher Goy-built shofar to someone who used it for Christian worship.

My deodorizing method of washing it vigorously with dishwasher detergent and then swabbing it with mineral oil infused with myrrh gum seemed to be pretty effective.

  • @MitchMb14, Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. RELLY? Dishwasher soap? Hm. I've been thinking of making a horn just to see if I can. How much time/effort was involved?

  • @McBrannon1000 Dishwasher detergent or TSP is good. I filled mine with a detergent solution and let it soak overnight. Then I put a cup or so of fine gravel and more detergent solution in it, stuffed a soft rubber ball into the open end to close it, and shook it vigorously for about an hour so the gravel would scour the tissue from the inside. Also used a big bottle brush as far as I could reach. Once I did that I filled it with alcohol and myrrh gum and let it sit for awhile to kill as much...

  • @McBrannon1000 (continued) bacteria as possible. Then let it dry and put mineral oil infused with myrrh gum inside and out to coat it. I sawed the end of the horn off so the cut off part would be almost as big around as a trumpet mouthpiece and carved out a cup shape with 3/8 inch drill bit and knife. I sanded the outside of the horn a little to make it less rough but still leave it pretty natural. Minimum 4 hours work.

  • @McBrannon1000 If you play a trumpet or cornet it will help you to get a sense of how to make the mouthpiece, and look at pictures of shofar mouthpieces too. You can get a raw horn for about $30 on ebay.

  • @MitchMb14

A shofar made with a kudu horn produces a richer, deeper tone than a ram's horn.

Also, the opening you blow into is cut into the SIDE of the horn.

Please check out the video here on Youtube of the Masai tribeman playing a shofar

made froim a kudu horn, it's awesome!

  • Thank you for the teaching and demonstration. Very much appreciated. I don't blow the shofar personally; I'm helping someone find the teaching vids on this so he can do it.

  • thank you for posting but i was just wandering what is the significance of each of the four traditional shofar blasts. thank you and God bless.

  • shalom

  • ZECHRAH...Thank you for this demonstration, as well as the others you've posted. The demonstrations were very informative.

    Hmmm ...

Lung capacity for shofar vs. bagpipes vs. Sousaphone ??? XD

  • @justdoorie ....

According to the book of Revelation; the sounding of the seventh trumpet is the beginning of the final judgement......just before God's wrath is poured out upon the world!

  • Thank you for sharing brother! Just as Yeshua fulfilled the Spring Feasts of the Lord to the day in His 1st coming; He will fulfill the Fall Feasts of the Lord in His 2nd coming. The next Feast to be fulfilled is the Feast of Trumpets! Always a blessing to know more about His Torah (Teachings) and knowing about the Trumpet blasts is a blessing for me today on His Shabbat. Shabbat Shalom!

  • e uma benção eu estou cheia da presença de Deus.

  • Yes, in ancient times fires were used (like Lord of the Rings) in symbols and the Indigenous Americans used smoke... but a ram's horn is far easier... no fire needed! And shrill!!! :D

  • I had a dream once, where the Tekia was blown.

  • I had a dream where an invisible hand drew on a blackboard instructing me in math and telling me I was a cantor... I don't know what that meant... the math went in a pyramid down.. 1 to 64 and so on... interesting. Thanks for the post.

  • Sweet! Dulce!

  • Thank you!

  • Good!

  • GLORY!

  • Revelation 2:9

  • Good show!

  • Looks like a 51" shofar, beautiful shofar!!!!

    Good work

  • That's what she said... great sound.

  • Which shofar is that and what size is it?

  • The only ones they sell that sound the greatest are 42" to 45".. and they will post a video of it for you to see while it is transit.

  • I would love one! Thank you, bro.

  • wonderfully done!

  • Hello

    Thanks for posting the sounds.

Do you or does anyone know what the sounds were for the Feast of Trumpets?

    Thanks again!

  • what is a Feast of Trumpets?

  • Rosh Hashana, celebration of Creation. New Year and when HaShem judges each individual for the coming year.

  • Nice. Are their more then 4 blasts? If so how much are their total? I would really appreciate it the info brother. Gd Bless You always

  • There is a 5th sound which is called the Tekiah Adolam which essentially it's just the 4 sounds in succession or just one after the other... the reason for this its the shout of victory.. of rejoicing that something great has happened... like many in modern times will celebrate the restoration of families or reconciliation with the eternal father

  • Thank you brother. The shofar reminded me of this vision I had a couple months ago when I heard this loud blast from heaven concerning the King calling up his people in the near future. Then I seen all these people walking in the sky meeting the King in the sky in the clouds pointing up at this throne of Gd sitting on it. The light was so bright coming of Gd and his Throne . The only thing I could sightly see from he who sits on the throne was his feet. Yet it looked like a mix of glass & light

  • @ZECHRAH You mentioned in the video the meaning of the Teruah, but what do the others mean/signify?

  • תקיעה

    שברים

    תרועה =

    תקיעה גדולה

  • I heard from a guy that the real shophar is the short one. He said this long one is not the one used on biblical times. Is the true? I want to know the true about this. Thanks in advance!

  • The original horn was the Rams horn as it was easier to carry and produced a piercing sound when the alarm was sounded. Gideons Army had the Rams horn in one hand and an olive lamp in the other when they surrounded the midianite camp. The Kudu longer horn was used at major convocations like anouncing the new moon, King's coronation, worshipping God to invoke his presence. In the temple the Kudu carried a nicer beautiful sound during Shabbat, Rosh Hashannah and other holidays.

  • @TheTallitMan The Midianites? They were the ones who sheltered Moses when he was a fugitive. Big mistake?

  • Thank you for posting this. The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob richly bless you.

    Shalom

  • Thank you Shalom Uvracha
