Think about this, The real difference is that blu-ray players use a blue  laser to read instead of a red one, the blue 'ray' can read more preccisely, mean that DVD's can hold more information.

wrong... if the bluray laser is more precise then it's the bluray that can hold more data and not dvd-based media. anyway, storage capacity for new media is rather determined by its multilayer-capabilities. take the TeraByte-Disc for example. it consists of 200 Layers with each one only having the capacity of a normal single-layer dvd and that is far fewer than what bluray and hddvd have to offer

Blue ray seems pretty pointless to me. We didn't have a problem with dvds, did we? but then Blue Ray comes along and tries to show us we need it. I for one don't. 360 will probaply use separate Bluray drive for games and movies.

Possible future models will have built in Bluray drive like PS3.

The real losers in this are those who bought 360 AND HDdvd drive. Those who didn't can later buy Bluray drive.

Personally I'm satisfied that Bluray won.

I don't own any HD-device exept for my TV.

Bluray just is in my mind the better solution.
