This is awful....My 6 year old Presa would never behave like this...Why would you train a Presa to behave this way? They are bred for driving cattle not for violence!! I find this disgusting and whoever you are you should not be keeping Presa Canarios!!! Any dog will only do what you tell it....Im so proud that my Presa is an exception to the rule and i would trust him with my life...You should be ashamed of yourselves!!

I think you just have to trust your dog, you are everything for him and he will die if neccessary if you are in danger, you don'tm need to train them.

I'm wondering why would someone believe that the dog should not react until given a command? If someone entered into your home and you were away the dog can't react unless given a command? They could rob you blind. If you got knock out before the command was given they could kill or rob you because the dog will not respond without a command. I believe the dog in the video needs better obedience training before they should have began the personal protection. This is very low level of PP.

That dog might have a lot of drive but the number ONE thing in bitework is being able to control the dog, and here you can see this man can neither verbally control the dog and barely physically control the dog. I wouldn't want to see this dog in the hands of untrained PPD trainers.

@brownmachine6969 You'll find there's the more showy type and then this type, taller, leaner, usually less than 125 pounds that's pretty athletic. The showy type should really only be 130 pounds and less but people are coming out with 140+ lbs Presa that are surpassing the standard.
