good advice from the little man! if the paper is stuck on well, it usually takes a few soaks before you can peel it off easily, unless it failing anyway and comes off dry, which is what i always try first before soaking. People make the mistake of soaking it from the start and actualy prolong the job.
Thank you for the video. My walls have an egg shell finish, it's proving very difficult to take the wall paper off. Do you have other tips to make my job easier? P.S. I don't have any nephews :)
If you have an eggshell finish on your walls, you could just linepaper over it and then either re paint it or finish paper it.

I bought it from a Dulux decorator centre.
It's called a wallpaper perforator, you can also get them online!

i have a steam wall paper stripper, do you think that this method will be better than using that?
davyfreeman 1 year ago
@davyfreeman
In most cases it is easier, but it depends on the type of paper and how many times it has been painted etc.

@ultimatehandyman i shall give it a go then, cheers (again)

You can always try a steam wall paper remover.

will this work on all walls?

@xoxforeverfriendsxox
Yes, but if it is drywall, don't over wet it.

the difference is that this is a concrete wall compared to most peoples dry walls.
mcgrady7761 1 year ago
@mcgrady7761
It's not concrete at all. It is a brick wall that has been plastered, which is a common type of construction in the UK.
