  • funk!

  • A perfect jam for a skate session !

  • ja, aber das geht nicht. .. . . . . uhhh

  • ahhhh that fender rhodes sounds nice

  • Oh yeah, Magnum "Fully Loaded". Takes me back to the ol' San Pedro days. My brother Steve Mallory On Sax!!!! Cornbread on guitar, Dave on drums, Worm on trombone, chaney on congos, Lamont on trumpet, Michael on keyboards and Harold on bass.

  • This music BLOWS. Just kidding, my dad was a bassist in Magnum and my uncle did vocals/keyboards.

  • @Niggotiator I was born and raised in San Pedro, CA. Michael Green was my piano teacher in 1973.

  • @Niggotiator , is your uncle Michael Greene?

  • @Niggotiator Your dad & uncle were in one of the tightest, funkiest bands of all time.

  • searching for new light on this dark and deppressive day.. this track is thus rejuvinating my energy

  • @treeZon1 Glad this helped...music, more then anything/anyone else, can always be relied on to deliver in that particular area..

  • this shit got my whig twisted all the way back. too funky.

  • what are some other good magnum tunes>? Just discovered them, and this is summa da best funk I ever heard

  • Yeahh reall good!

Man, could you post "FUNKY JUNKY" from the same album please..?

  • MASTERPIECE!!!!

  • YAAAAA thats that funk

  • WoW

  • By the way, great to see some Philly sounds up there with that new Keem-o-sabe post!

  • lanier2 look for a group called ICE ,mid 70,s has a picture of a ice machine on the album cover.

  • The guitar solo is just banging!

  • now thats funky

  • During the early "70's I was a teenager and conscious due to the Black Power movement of the previous decade; in our country it is a known fact that regional selection concerning what was played was, indeed, a fact! I have never heard of Magnum being fron the Baltimore metropolitan area. It's unfortunate because the brothers definitely had a sound. Thank you once again BBS....Salaam!

  • anytime, Karlideem...Khoda Hafez..

  • GOD BASS!

  • This song is fully loaded!

  • Really enjoyed those Wattstax clips you had as well as the Cherry article...I was also keeping an eye on what Mr. R.A. was doing on the guitar..I'd like to be able to play like him. This guy is a triple-threat...guitar, keyboards and those vocals that are second to none.

  • Lanier2, your music page is excellent by the way - I particularly liked the piece on Mandrill. Never knew they were connected with the Warriors movie...

  • I haven't heard of anything else that they released - which is tragic when you consider all of that collective talent..the keyboard player alone seemed to have written alot of my favorite tracks and he was 16 at the time!

Have you heard "Your Mind"? Also one of my favorite tracks off that album....I used to play this record for people and boast.. 'another great philly band..' ..wrong!..turns out they were a California band from what I heard..beyond that,I wish I knew more about them.
