  • how do you make it so smooth?

  • first hill is kinda weird and slow....the rest of the ride is alright...4/5

  • too many twists for my liking

  • Great ride but I didn't like the floating title

    5/5 though

  • that was amazing but the supports are in lava.

i wish i knew how to use no limits its so cofusing to me

  • Practice practice practice 8) Also knowing how to use Elementary+HSAK and Newton helps a ton.

  • @GaleRazorwind whats elementary+HSAK and newton?

  • @UltraMankiller They are 3rd party tools which create elements you can insert into a NoLimits track. HSAK and Elementary aren't really needed much anymore as Newton 2 can do just about everything you want. Google Newton 2.

  • @GaleRazorwind oh so newton can drastically improve the smoothness of your coaster?

  • @UltraMankiller Yes, it can, but it will take quite a bit of tinkering around with it before you learn how to make smooth tracks with it. It is Force Vector Design. You create segments of time and tell it how much the Gs/roll changes during that segment. Take a look at my newest ride, Prism. That was made entirely in Newton 2, and its smoothness and intensity represents years of experience working with N2.

  • @GaleRazorwind oh i see. Ok well tyvm to introducing me to this program :).

  • @GaleRazorwind

Even though you say that. At least you'd know better.

  • That was really good, excellent job!

  • how did you get it so smooth! i suck at this =[

  • Please read the comments and the discription of EVERY video you watch. Chances are your question has already been answered.

  • fuck. sorry i got my comments mixed up with 2 tabs open.

  • Description* And, you really enforce that reading of descriptions

  • damn. do you hand do all you stuff ( subscribes now ) or u use tools?

  • No. Up until Abominable and Sidewinder, I have been using the program Elementary with the HSAK (Heix Swiss Army Knife). Cobra and Maelstrom were 100% hand made.

I used a program called "Newton" with a tiny amount of Elementary to make Abominable and Sidewinder. Newton, Elementary, and HSAK are all available at coastersims(dot)com

  • hmm i havn't heard of newton. mind if i use this song on an upcoming coaster. ?

btw i just started using elementry ( with h-sak) i'm just starting to read the manual for FVD ( force vector designs )

  • I do not own the song, therefore you are free to use it as you wish. Newton is basically FVD for dummies. It uses a graphical interface instead of just plugging in numbers and hoping.

  • i tried it out ( newton ) and i don't really like it ( i am much better at hand one stuff ) plus H sak is easier to use to me.

p.s. i finaly got a CS username ( same as my youtube like you ( when i get the time i will download some of your coasters and i will upload some of mine. )

  • like how u build a inverted coaster by intamin

  • veeeeeery veeery good 5*

  • sweet id ride it,send it to six flags

  • veeeery good 5*

  • got a few things, first great original idea id definitely ride this, second my only problem with it is non of the rolls are heartlined, third you made me want my nightwish cd back haha, gave it away a few months ago

  • that was awesome

  • how do u record on no limits and find the file where it is???? i wanna add my recreation of hulk and alpengeist. by the way cool coaster

  • That was impressive! It was smooth everywhere, none of it was boring, and i give the half loop drop 2 thumbs up! 5/5

  • It isn't actually that smooth, and the lats are bad in some of the rolls.

  • wow nice rollercoaster! CRAZY! lol

  • hey guys i downloaded the game any1 knows why my game is tooooo slow during gameplay ????!!!

  • go into graphics settings and turn everything down as far as it can go. If that doesn't work, get a better computer.

  • plz can u tell where can i find the graphics setting ?/ my pc is new 1.5 gb ram

  • can u tell where can i find the graphic setting \s ?

  • in the simulator, before you load a ride, go to setup/video and turn everything down as low as it can go.

  • thnks ill go now

  • Best Coaster!!!!!

  • Nice ride!

I had thought a while ago about someone making a coaster with the half loop first drop and this is the first I have seen of it.

    Again great ride.

  • Nice ride!

I had thought a while ago about someone making a coaster with the half loop first drop and this is the first I have seen of it.

    Again great ride.

  • That first drop were just...WHOA...Great Coaster

  • nice smooth coaster, good job

  • CAN YOU PLEASE PUT THIS ON OTHER THAN THRILLNETWORK?!?!?!? It says i have to be a member at thrill network. When I do try to register, IT WONT LET ME!!!

Can you please e-mail the NLTrack file at

    the.m4.mafia@gmail(dot)com

  • Talk about a hang time headache on that first drop. but other than that really smooth...

  • Heartlining is to show how close u can put a track if it crosses over it so u don't kill anyone, LOL

  • If you turn on the "show hearline" in the display menu, you can actually see what a heartline is. Hartlining means you are using that line to create as few lateral G's as possible.

  • Heartlining makes the track roll around the train instead of the train rolling around the track (i.e. a heartline roll: the riders spin around their own centerline as opposed to the track spinning around on its centerline. This essentially removes almost all lateral Gs experienced by the rider. B&M and Intamin use it a lot, and it was invented by Stengle, I believe.

  • This song nightwish?

  • Did you read the video discription?

  • Nope.. hold on

  • nice coaste! :)

  • Nice!!!!!!!!!!

  • any slutty women ever fantasize about not posting spam on my videos?

  • eh? what happened to the stupid spam ad that I purposefully left for the above(or below) joke??

  • It needs heart lining bad. It pumps a bit and you need to speed up that big turn.

  • I know. This is an older ride.

  • GREAT FUKIN JOB!

  • oh ok ill try that then

  • Great coaster, but how do u get such good quality videos?? When I tried fraps and gamecam it always comes out choppy and laggy...

  • I use fraps. Did you set the frame rate to 29fps? If you set it higher than that, it lags up the recording.

  • omg, this is one of the most inspiring rides I've ever seen! I am a fellow NLer so I do know what I am talking about ;)

  • Well, i think on some of the inversions, drops, etc. there should be custom supports...but ur right that the prefab supports worl! They just dont work so good! The coaster could be better! All you need is to make some custom supports for the overbanked corner and for the inversions! Especially on the corkscrews!!!

  • i like the slow inverted first drop thing

after that - looks pumpy and turns are overbanked. that first overbanked turn is crawling

    and

90deg turns are good when there is elevation change thruought the turn but a flat turn will have 1 lateral G no matter how fast the turn is taken

as far as people commenting on using the prefab supports.... there's no reason to make custom supports on every support when the prefab ones are proven and work just fine.

  • Go to thrillnetwork(dot)com and DL it. There are a few pumps and jerks, as well as some red lats. This was one of my first few coasters. In any case, I made everything the way I did on purpose.

  • YA...y dont u make ur own supports???? From the looks of this coaster it looks like u r able 2!!!!!

  • making supports for steel coasters takes a very long time. It took me 3 days of constant work to make the supports for tommahawk. I wasn't quite ready for making custom supports when I made this. You can auto support woodies in about 3 clicks of the mouse. If you want to see custom supports, look at tommahawk.

  • Dude I Luv Your coasters! They rock! Dude every thing is perfect. The invertions, the over-bank, the supports. Sweet Video too!

  • Thanks. BTW supports on this are pre-fabs.

  • cool!!

  • AAAHHHHH.... that makes sense!!!SO this has 10 inversions...correct??

  • Yes. 180 deg roll(1), zero G roll(1), double corkscrew(2), Loop-screw(2), corkscrew(1), double roll(2), roll(1). 1+1+2+2+1+2+1=10

  • hEY, right before the imelman, there is a straight away. Is there a launch or break there??? Or is it just a place 2 catch ur breathe??? PS. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! I dont have fraps so i dont have any vids!!!

  • It is a spacer. It makes room for the loop-screw.

  • is that RCT3?

    or RCT4

    it has good graphics

  • No, this is not an rct game. This is NoLimits. It is basically the best rollercoaster sim available to the general public(GP). If you want to build a park, get rct. If you want to build a coaster, get nolimits. It is about 30$, and it is an internet DL. Very difficult to use.

  • Very cool rollercoaster!

  • what a long coaster train.

  • yup. Huge capacity 8P

  • Best no limits ive seen

    ps. love da song

  • that was cool

  • this shit rocks

  • How do you tak a video w/o a cammra? Am trying to post a coaster, but i can't figure out how you people do it. Tell me pleasae[:

  • If you took a moment to look at the comments, you would. I use a program called "fraps", available for about 40$

  • When u buy nolimits, do u have to download it off the internet, or can u order a CD and get it shiped to ur house? I need to know, plz let me know!

  • It is only available as an internet DL

  • cool song!

  • can u buy this game in england

  • I am not sure. Go look at their website ww w(dot)nolimitscoasters(dot)com

  • nice coaster but the hovering angel fire sign looks unrealistic

  • The ride is perched over a cauldren of lava and you're concerned about the sign?

  • nice roller coaster

  • Are those prefab supports I see? A good designer should never use prefab supports.

All in all, this is a nice concept. I like it.

  • yeah, I'm usually a little bit too lazy to make my own. If you look at my coasters "beer", which only has two or three prefabs, and "maelstrom", which I don't believe I used any prefab supports, you will see that I don't always use prefabs. Just most of the time 8P

  • how do you do prefab supports? I only know how to do custom and autosupports

  • Switch to top view. Then select the style of support you want from the bar just to the right of the manual support choices(the tubes and beams). Then click on the track where you want the prefab to go just like you would to place a track support node. Prefabs show up as brown lines.

  • ok. also, what type of recorder did you use?

  • fraps. The full version costs about 40$

  • no it cost 30$

  • nolimits costs 30. fraps costs 37, i.e. about 40.

  • I Think its cool and stupid in a good way <3!

  • No matter who the vid is. For this song you choose you´ll get 5* :-)

    Nightwish - I wish I had an angel !!!!

  • Thanks. I found that it fit the ride perfectly.

  • Little advice for the first drop and lift. Its too slow going arround the inversion, you should have made like half or 3/4 of the lif LIM so it would go over the iversion smoother and quicker it would probably improve the perfromace of your coaster since there are some other slow parts besides that one.

  • I made it the way I did because I wanted it to have "hang-time"

  • dude, if people were really like that on the first drop they would pass out because all of the blood is rushing to their heads...

  • They aren't upsidedown for THAT long. Just long enough for all of the change to fall out of their pockets $_$

  • DAMN that was hell of a first drop! nice job

  • wow that was beautiful;.

  • thanks

  • this coaster was great overall but i dont think the type of coaster(inverted impulse) was made for this type of track. inverted impulse is for tracks like wicked twister at CP.......i think

  • w ww. rcdb.c om/id1076 .h tm(remove the spaces). Intamin uses this style of coaster for standard inverted continuous circuit coasters too.

  • is it hard to make a nl coaster???? like is it as easy to make as it is in rct3?repl.

  • it is usually a lot harder to make a NL than an RCT3. Rct3 uses piece based construction, and NL uses vertex based construction. It can be very difficult to get everything smooth.

  • Yes. Making a NL is much harder than making an RCT3, because RCT uses piece based construction, and NL uses vertex based construction. It can be difficult to make everything smooth.

  • oh yeh hehehe i was wrong

  • Also, the very first inverted impulse WAS/IS a continuous circuit. It's called "volcano: the blast coaster" at kings dominion(I think that's where it is located)

  • coool i will take a look

  • i don't know if you made this or if this was already a file but if you made this great job this must have taken alot of time to make (i have the downloaded demo) So i would definently ride this

  • Yes, I made all of this. 95% of this ride is pre-fabs(that I designed/created with elementary and otherwise). Once/if you get the full version, you can download this track, as well as cobra and maelstrom, from ww w.thrillnetwork.c om (remove the spaces)

  • well.......... its a good coaster but it had a lot of inversions and there are a lot of cars!!!

  • inversions = awesomeness. And the long trains mean high capacity.

  • Cool video man...if i had no limits though:)

  • cool!

  • I got that comment from you, snoof. 8P

  • Heh, I like the end comment. WARF.

    -Snoof

  • Yeah I kninda thought the train was a little long, but it runs fine. TY

  • This was like awesome except the trains were probably just a tad long :P

Although this is like a heaps good kick ass rollercoaster.

  • YOU SUCK

  • Make up your mind 8P

  • OMG DUDE AWSOME HOW DID YOU DO IT?!?!

  • practice and a lot of help from elementary lol. I "hand made" the overbank turns(In my maelstrom coaster) and the lift. Then I created a few premades in elementary and stuck them in or hacked them up to create my new elements (like the 180 roll into half-loop and the side-winder). I even used it to make the straight sections that I turned into brakes/station/rolls ect.
