Ha ha! Definitely NOT what I was expecting. The vehicle is different but the teaching reminds me a lot of My Reincarnation, a documentary I watched recently…”that’s an offering to the Buddha.” It’s all self-realization, very profound bitly . com / uIr2nk
The people who do not understand this video do not see that H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is actually embarrassing himself so that we do not embarrass the Buddhas. He rather suffers the negative karmas himself than having his students or the world to make the same mistakes. He is like our reflection showing us how ugly we can be on the inside. He is also teaching us to look at things from a different point of view. That's what he wants us to learn, not judging or resenting. Please watch again.
i fail to understand why are there dislikes for this video. I'm not even a follower of him. This video is enlightening, it cuts through illusions. Modernization is needed. He is doing it perfectly.
@ussaneee Rinpoche in all his videos, gives us advice and instructions for our benefit. The best way to repay that kindness is thru our sincere practice. Together we can support each other for our spiritual growth.
not entirely impossible that those who are being judged for expressing anger here are fragments and reflections of the same soul that is issuing 'guidance'.. in other words, the oneness karma balance reflection is asking for the denied essence and emotion to be accepted rather than pushed away as 'less than'.
I love tsem tulku Rinpoche.. he doesnt beat around the bush. he tells it like it is. he is truthfull and 100% sincere... some people find his teachings rather un-orthodox, but if you dont like the way he teache`s dont dis-respect him.... find another teacher its simple.....
Rinpoche is so kind. He tries so hard to push us to excel , to get over our hang ups. Regardless of the negative perceptions that people may have over the way he teaches. It's like pulling out a bandage, if you yank it out fast, it's gonna hurt.. but it's quick, rather than prolong that suffering by going slowly. Sometimes it really takes a good scolding to get thru to us. Or he can tell us everything is fine. Take your time. I don't that'll work against lifetimes of negative habituation.
that person that makes negative comments will probably only suffer the same negative karma that a child would suffer stepping on an ant. Most people who run there mouth's about someone else really are that lost in that matter. I watch this video over time to laugh with him at myself, at our own human behavior, I say dam I am doing that again. This video totally helps motivate myself when I am messing up. EVERYTHING HE SAYS IS SO TRUE its like your own consciousness.
It got my attention - I also see and feel the resonance of Truth in his words. Its the same teaching Jesus gave - no greater love hath a man or woman than to give up his own life/self/egoic self obsession for another. Our Lama buddy here says just that, OM baby
@xblueskyxx1 On what basis do you judge Rinpoche, you have studied and learned many dharma texts, spent time in robes do share :) . If you criticize a lama who gives the dharma, there are karmic repercussions...
@xblueskyxx1 Sometimes it takes a good shaking to wake someone up! Is his teaching style appropriate for everyone? Probably not. However, I am sure many people do benefit from his loud and rude style.
@ bobaklim wanwaimeng is right, when there is gay students, in gay countries, with gay superstitions and gay habits, in gay countries, they need gay method of teaching. This is sesamestreet method, not gay, actually. Personally, I like sandelwood stick method, but that's not suitable in industrialized countries. Anyway, Tsem Rinpoche is speaking the truth, even tho most Tibetans would shy away to teach industrialized lay peope bluntly like that. Buddha Dharma is not a shallow wellness program.
@intezam Great , glad you get something form Rinpoche's teachings. Rinpoche really tries many ways to share the dharma and his talks are always very creative to use the current situations and circumstances to share the dharma with everyone.
@bobwklim Rinpoche is an incumbent of Gaden Monastery, and there is a video of him walking around in robes with other monks in Gaden, South India. Whether Rinpoche is gay or not does not matter, what matters is does his teaching benefit, some people do think so. His teaching may not benefit you, but you are not everyone.
If you disparage a teacher who holds his vows and teaches the dharma, the karmic repercussions are very heavy, if you believe in karma.
In the last few years I have seen quite a lot of videos from the dear Rinpoche. When I start "slipping" I watch him, and he helps me "shape up"! His compassion is so great that he makes these crazy faces in order to help us see how we behave. It's good to get embarrased, it urges us to change our patterns immediatelly. Great Manjushri sword which cuts through ignorance. I must say that I can see many good changes in myself since learning from Rinpoche-la, looking back now. Thank you Rinpoche-La
I love this man. He takes Buddhism and shocks its dusty and tired traditions full of hilarity and life, making modern practitioners not have to rely on dogmatic principals of long-dead political (not spiritual) leaders, and gets to the essence of the Buddha's teachings.
@TenTonTommy777 It is bold of you to say how Buddhism "should" manifest. There are many different types of students, so why wouldn't there be many different types of teachers?
Read some Lord Vimilikirti and perhaps not be so quick to make judgments. Even your enemy is your teacher. If you do not like this teachers presentation, that does not mean he is not a good teacher, but it says a great deal about what kind of student you are. My guess is that you didn't listen to his message. Ironic.
maybe you're right! for some this might work...but to be fair, what message does he bring when he acts like a master disciplining his dog for something the dog has no clue of what he did!
for someone who claims to be enlightened he acts like a child...i read the dhamma today on this matter!
tell me what message did he bring??
about me being "bold" and "telling how buddhism should manifest"
open up the dhammapada and tell me again that i am bold.
@TenTonTommy777 "a teacher should teach, clarify, lead by example and not point fingers and act like an infant with no self restraint on his emotions." That may work for those who are ready to hear it, but seriously TenTon, have you looked around lately? If everyone were ready to hear the teachings of the Buddha in a sanguine delightful setting, then they would not need the words of the Buddha, yes? There are different levels and needs for all walks of life. This guy may not be teaching you,
@joonzfeat So in order to teach a beginner-a bad actress acting u must act badly/and a person without good taste in clothes or make up u should dress in a bad taste-or a prostitute u should be a slut right?
@delagrazia What an odd question. 1st and foremost, the message is to let go of preconceived notions of what a teacher "acts" like. But would you not agree that when you see bad acting or poor dressing, it is an opportunity to learn how NOT to act or dress? So, 2nd, is to understand not all lessons come in the form of This is how to do something, but often can be in the form of This is how not to do something. Do we not learn from these experiences? Then the prostitute is your teacher. So, yes.
@joonzfeat Is Riponche in the eyes of his students an example to be avoided?(or followed?-as far as some ppl immitate their teachers conduct +not only his teachings)did he say ":dont act like me?:"
@delagrazia Again you are attempting to categorize that which cannot be simply labeled. Perhaps to some he is an example of what they do not need, to others he is exactly what they do need. I cannot speak for how Rinpoche's students see him, nor can you. You do not like his style? Do not watch him, but to discount his methods because they are of no use to you, well, do you think you are the only judge as to the proper manifestation of the dharma? Let me know how that works out for you. ;)
":do you think you are the only judge...of the dharma "
did I say I am A proper JUDGE+furthermore ...the ONLY judge?
+:"That is, who are you to criticize him?"..yeah...!
.who am I?
who are you?
who is he?
I can criticize him as he criticizes+as u criticize me..(and I probably do it in a more polite way than him,but then again, they are his students-they chose to expose themselves to that kind of critique+when they wont like it they will criticize too.I criticize HIS behavior not HIM
@delagrazia Then for god's sake go criticize him. I am growing weary of your petulance and inability to see how short sighted you are to be judging others when you certainly could use some open mindedness yourself. So I am done here. Good luck to you and your anger.
@joonzfeat haha:)u r projecting YOUR anger to me/i didnt write anything that shows
anger while your message is FULL of it.Since u are the one admiring Riponche..it seems he is not doing a good job after all or you are not listening to what he sais(even in this video)So your words are empty
dude, seriously! not trying to be a smartass or anything but does.."In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves."..ring a bell??
delagrazia sure made a good point;..and you are taking this faaaar to personal!
@TenTonTommy777 goodness you boys are hilarious. i have not once been angry. if anything, i have been the only one who has been calm. sorry that you confuse the two, but as i attempted to point out, that if someone is approaching you with a message or energy you do not benefit from it is best to walk away. I have no anger. I do not even know you. I merely spoke on the dangers of narrow mindedness. HA! Me angry? That would be giving you control of my emotions. You give yourselves too much credit.
but cleary you are annoyed..when i read your reply!! the "HA! me angry" sez alot..you surely took offense to that..you prolly got annoyed because i quoted buddha on you lol
and reading on the rest it seems like you always want to have the last word no matter what...in any case, if you don't care why bother to reply in such fashion??
@TenTonTommy777 Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they are emotionally involved with you. You obviously want to egg me on, why? Does that make you feel superior? Your perception of my emotive state says more about you than me. You feel embarrassed that someone called you on your judging? Or that you have to quote the Buddha to make a point? Any fool can't quote, good luck with that if you think that is all is all one needs. :D
and about me egging you on..ok wauw, if you really think that then you are projecting! so i'm a fool for quoting???
it doesn't even matter, you proved yourself more then enough with what you just said..and putting smileys behind it just proves your hiding behind the facade that tries to brush off the incompetence of an argument!
dude whatever you think of me...i really don't care since you allready made up your mind of what is and isn't...so
@TenTonTommy777 You really prove your point when you use extra question marks. I never called you a fool, I said any fool can quote, you make that what you wish. you have thoroughly amused me today, or should I say today!!!!!!!! i think nothing ill of you whatsoever. why would i? because you called the Rinpoche a gay washed up comedian and then questioned my intentions? That only elicits compassion in me brother. You and your friend are just who the Rinpoche hopes to reach. Ah, the irony.
"any fool can quote"..i did quote! so ergo you presume i am! so you are insinuating that i am one or else you wouldn't have used the word fool!
i admit to be wrong to call him that..something i have to deal with even if it wasn't meant to be offensive..it probably is!
look dude, being passive aggresive and sarcastic...how can you find this amusing lol..you have a weird sense of humour ^^...but hey to each his own i guess!
in any case, i'm mean no harm aswell...i only commented->
->because i was following the discussion between you and delagrazia...but you took it to personal....to my understanding!
and you are in no position to judge how i or others for that matter will reach what..you learn in life through experience not by hanging at the lips of a "enlightened master" and defend him with tooth and nail..if someones says something you don't like!
but that's my view on it.and again, this is nothing personal so don't get any strange ideas ^^
@delagrazia Also, in case you missed my points earlier, different people are at different stages in their evolution. You wouldn't ask a Physics professor to teach a 5 year old math would you? No. There are some people who are more open to the rinpoche's approach, other's seek out the Dalai Lama. It takes all kinds of people to make up this world, to assume there is only one way to teach Buddhism, well that is the antithesis of Buddhism and belies a very narrow minded approach to learning.
@joonzfeat a teacher should be able to talk to all sorts of ppl+no a 10year old (especially )would not benefit more from R.than from the Lama.ppl with a lower level as u say might get more comfused/the question in fact is if u can benefit from his knowledge without being influenced wrongly by his behaviour
@delagrazia Look up Expedient Means, then come back to me. A teacher CAN speak to all types of people, but to say that they are all qualified to teach to every person's ability to understand would be a grand over-generalization. Life is not so black and white. The real question is why do you need the Rinpoche to behave in a certain way to give him proper reverence? That is, who are you to criticize him? I mean no disrespect, but why does it matter so much to you? He is not harming you in any way
@joonzfeat he is not harming me+coz I like diversity I(and i mean I)have no problem I can watch him/his behaviour wont affect me in a negative way but his behaviour is not a good example eventhough his teachings+or knowledge might be good but his behaviour isnt.He is funny till a point+annoying when he steps further than that. Most religions +philosophies teach moderation(budhism is one of those)Thus he does not represent that.Shock is specially chosen by some teachers for specific studentswhile
@joo ..he acts like this all the time (+towards all).(Being)silly is not a role model So his teachings are good(if are)if u have the maturity to overlook his behaviour and understand is just his personality and NOT part of the philosophy he teaches ,NOTpart of the things u should learn.U simply argue that DISCREPANCIES are good.
@joonzfeat If u say his behaviour is not to be avoided but is to be adopted, thats fine with me,coz....it would make a much funnier world. His teachings might make the world a better place but his behaviour makes it just funnier not holier some times exaggerated and others just ridiculous
@TenTonTommy777 but he might have a chance to teach others. I just don't find it healthy to say --THAT is the wrong way to teach, THAT is the wrong way to learn. I find it hard to believe that the Buddha would discount any method any bodhisattva used if he had the chance to reach even one person. So, this guy is not Your style, fair enough, but that doesn't make him impotent. You must realize that there are many out there who have never read the dhamma,
nor gita, nor even the bible, and they need teachers too, teachers on their level, not yours. This man wears a robe, and you have to do 100,000 prostrations before you are ordained, so no matter what you think, he has put his time in and even if you don't like him, he deserves reverence. Have a wonderful evening as well, see you around!
@TenTonTommy777 On the surface it seems like Rinpoche lost control. I've been with Rinpoche 18 years he has never lost control or acts out of anger. In Malaysia u have many people who shop for attention, dharma, gurus and spirituality. And in the end they lose out big time.
If you judge rinpoche on one video then you fallen into the 'single story' trap. Check out his other videos :)
hi, i've seen vids prior to this one...i'm sure he has some key points in his arguments!
but i just can't stand the annoying overacting behaviour and downtalking and fingerpointing...to be like that to make a point, i'm sorry but it's not for me!
i'm clever enough to question/analyze everything..wether be me, my environment or my behaviour for that matter! i can see that some people need hard approach or need to be entertained to be attentive
@TenTonTommy777 Rinpoche teaches the lamrim ( stages to the path of enlightenment) all of time in his talks though not in a conventional manner.
I think we should not take things literally, some1 who is rough isn't always unkind and someone who is gentle may have ulterior motives. A con man/woman will always be very nice to suck you in.
Have u seen Buddha's lost children it is abt a Theravadan monk who helps children on t border of thailand & this monk kicks ass as he was a former kick boxer
@TenTonTommy777 Lam Rim is Gelugpa, it is a manual/cookbook towards enlightenment. It covers the three scopes. Different scopes covers the different motivations of the practitioners.
Small Scope for people who wants a better rebirth, Medium Scope is the path share with people who wants self liberation, Great Scope those who want to traverse the Bodhisattva path.
Search under google books "lIberation in the palm of your hand'
@TenTonTommy777 Lam Rim is not something just to read, it is something for us to meditate on. Meditate so we can enact a change in our mindstream. For example when we are studying about compassion, we meditate and mix our mind with the benefits of compassion. By mixing our mind with virtuous objects like compassion, slowly slowly we act out of compassion moment by moment. Its like a god wa to brainwash ourselves towards virtuous intentions and objects.
come on people..that s not the way of a religious person.mocking/doesnt HE need some self restraint with his anger?not that he s not a clever guy though..
@delagrazia It is worthy to note that Atisha, one of the most important teachers in is lineage said "The best kind of teacher is one who attacks your hidden faults." We don't grow by being told that the bad things we do are ok.
@BeatBuddha i don t care he s direct/of course is necessary i disagree with the "drama" is not apropriate i m sure= every scripture must say overexagerating is bad however if this appeal2some people and these are his ways what can we do we cant change him.and as long as he does good 2 people everthing s ok
@joo why u think i have a"static notion of how a buddhist behaves"?(perhaps u self-project?)Diversity is good and whats"inside"count much more+I d definitely would not want him2self restraint just to fit to an image-stereotype(tht would be pretending and is much worse. He just annoys me aftr a while+THISattitude here has further implications-shows a character+i ve seen him in other vid answering to a question ironically hasty+withhout patience-he didnt get the question at first+
@delagrazia you are the one questioning his tactics because "he annoys" you. I have done nothing but argue for diversity. Funny how you would accuse me with the implication of projection when you are the one who has the issues with the Rinpoche. You might try asking yourself, Why does he bother me so much? What does this annoyance say about my own buddhist notions? Why must I attack that which annoys me? If you were a Buddhist, I would think you would have already asked these questions.
.Shock +ridicule is good to diminish your arrogance and make u think but must benefit u in the end-those who can manage the method are rare+results are faster(thats the point but also questionable+not benefic to all/as long as ppl learn from him is ok
This is such a good teaching. It helped me out a lot, it is great to have different kinds of teachers. i don't see anything wrong with acting like a crazy person, thanks tem tulku.
A lot of people do not like it as it is so direct and right to the point about the selfishness of human being and its wrong motivations. Rinpoche give us very important advices:
He is one of the most interesting monk which makes his teaching interesting and understandable. To tell the truth. He help me once. Getting out of the most difficult part in my life when I'm in high school. I chanted and chanted the mantra he taught me and I gain so much from his teaching. How I wish I can see him in person again as I really miss him a lot a lot. Whenever I pray, I pray for his holiness good health and longevity as well. Miss you my dearest guru.
The Dharma talk he is giving here is really meaningful and true, just the way he presented it made him look really stupid, no offense, there's no need for those silly tongue actions. Great talk, but shitty expressions. If this is funny to some of you, well. I think I don't know what is funny anymore. Sadhu, sadhu, sadhu!
Your beahavior is very unusal as a monk.. . . . . .I cant sense any peace from your behavior and speech. Although you seem to know the contents of the buddhas teaching I think you still havent practiced buddism yet.
Buddhism in it's purist form has no dogma or requirements to believe in anything. Buddha said "I am not a God, I have simply given a great deal of taught to the causes of suffering and how we might avoid it"...
In my heart, I honestly believe that men like Moses, Jesus and Allah, were heavily influenced by Buddha, or at the very least, arrived at the same conclusions.
@loveruleshate : In the Mahayana, skillful means are used in order to teach and help make people practice dharma correctly. Sometimes, things can seem one way but actually be different from how they seem. He is scolding members of his following and using slightly wrathful means to teach effectively. From applying what he says, I have seen improvements in my own moral conduct, so it works for me. I also find him quite funny at times, as well.
monkeymelify: lots more tsemtulku funniness, love, vibrant energy, wisdom, teachings and deeply personal insights at his personal blog. Rinpoche blogs almost everyday so keep up to date with all the latest at: blog (dot ) tsemtulku (dot )com
Thank you for this video. Several times I have come back to watch and each time it has brought me back to the essence. Thank you Rinpoche for teaching in a manner that pierces delusion. Thank you for being frank and open as to what the Path is. For being the mirror compassionately showing the nature of samsara and the reality of non-Awareness.
Excellent idea to question the lama. Why not to question yourself that way too? The people in that audience connect with the teachings better in this way. Just because it doesn't speak to you doesn't mean is not skillful and meaningful to others. Before you pass judgments check your mind. If you were to ask for an interview with him you would be treated at your own level of accomplishment and according to your own karmic propensities. Not everything is for everybody. Be wise.
Very interesting! Thank you Tsem Tulku Riponche, for your excellent advices.
You don't have a false morgue of a saint, you don't paint the reality. You are in XXI century, and you are living between fell people. You speek in "their language".
You think being buddhist is about being calm? please don't be so narrow minded, what teachings do you have for us? I think your words would hold water if you have lots of teachings on youtube for the benefit of others, oh but thats right you don't...hmmm i would be very careful who you speak rudely to also... bad karma dude Lamas are not ordinary beings.
Dude, watch the video and try and not tell me that is a bad advertisement for Buddhists. I like to go and see my buddist teacher in uni and know that I´m talking to someone who can help me. Not someone who sits there and makes baby noises and prances like a fag. I´d never take him serious that way. He´s an embarrassment.
What about you? Have you watch the whole video? Obviously not! For someone who can't even spell 'Buddhist' correctly, I wonder what authority within Buddhists circle you hold for you to approve or disapprove? Take this: Tsem Rinpoche is recognised as a reincarnate Rinpoche by HH the 14th Dalai Lama & he took his ordination vows from HH himself. So you have higher authority than the Dalai Lama? What a silly joke... LOL Get a life dude!
Um idiot, did you just see my last comment (see below) I did spell it corretly. been smoking too much of your happy herbs have ya? can´t read. Oh and who gives a shit where he went. He´s an idiot, he would make me nervous sitting in the same vicinity as him, and I bet alot of others would too. Just because someone has a name or a title doesn´t make them intelligent and rightous in to acting like an idiot. And who said I had higher life then the DD, you get a life. And let me have my rant!
Haha... yeah right... 1 correct out of 3 times u wrote!
Oh and anyone can just get the title of PhD as well? Go check ur fact dude, see how a Rinpoche is recognised & enthroned.
BTW why r u so angry with him huh?
Oh I know... cuz Rinpoche said in the video: "Being angry is smelly, being narrow is smelly..."
Ouch... that's hurt!
Now, if u hav a life, u won't waste time posting here with ur stinking language just to get attention. Do u expect cheering with tht kind of attitude?
U nervous? Why? But u just bad-mouthed him as not man enough... u confused?
Ah well, if u still have some guts left, go check this video:
"Debating with Tsem Tulku Rinpoche - MUST WATCH".
Then, come back here to counter what he said thr. Like tht u can claim u r more intelligent than him. Man, this is ur chance to prove ur worth... It's a challenge, u man enough to take?
Aaa don't think u dare... so far we only see foul words in ur posts, nothing clever..
Ok, I´m over bad mouthing him. Sorry for the outburst it was a bit silly. But if you can see that I was a bit silly in the way I was acting, surely you can see the way this guy is carrying on is not normal. He makes me nervous screaming, spitting and yelling like a 12 year old, really dude, analyze it. And just becase the DL titled him, doesn´t make him oh wise man. I will go and watch your film, but I am giving my opinion about how he´s acting in this clip, that is all. Peace to you my friend.
Actually what your doing with your "rant" is exactly what Rinpoche is showing us in the video, but Rinpoche's acting this way to wake up those who think conceptually about how buddhists are supposed to be which is what you mentioned below / above when you say this is not how a buddhist is supposed to behave. Acting one way and not following the teachings they supposedly practice... I don't think your teacher told you to go around the internet stirring up ill feelings with your posts
Sorry lah if I was misunderstood, I said 'about' and not 'amongst' :) I replied because maybe your comment might turn people who Rinpoche can help away from dharma. Isn't that just as bad thing to do? Is not our place to judge his attainments when we ourself lack attainments. Not keeping my head in the sand lah, just don't see how political and financial power affect how well I keep my vows, or how regularly I do my sadhana or practice :)
What political statement lah? Just responding to your comment only. Is not about naive - just wondering why you want to even consider about political and financial powers? If doubt is illusion, then those powers is also illusion. After you die, those power effects on you is over so why you want to worry? Worry about your practice and finding right lama first. Like I said before, external things and tradition attracts many people. If not for you, not for you lah. Got 84000 different methods.
Brother you started saying I was spreading doubt among the Sangha, this is not a light accusation!!
I am praticing awareness and discernment for myself and others , don't mistake my intention.
If you wan't to keep your head in the sand concerning political and financial power surrounding religious institutions, this is your choice, not mine.
religion, financial power, politics etc is all part and parcel of human society. It's everywhere. to expect it to not be in religion is naive. But at least in Buddhism it is used to draw people who are attracted to these into doing something good. BTW buddhism isnt about running away to a place that does not have political manuverings, its about using them to do good.
Yah got many crooked Gurus but Rinpoche also say before not to accept lamas blindly. People should check out teachers before accepting...and then when accept already and take refuge, stop doubt and go all the way. Anyways, maybe someone is give you minus one because you are support wrong view and promote doubt about lamas and Buddhist traditions?
Yes and maybe you are just using this to make a political understatement. I know the political and financial powers hovering behind every religious institution. Don't pretend to be naive .
Doubt is an illusion brother, you should know that. Awareness and discerment has nothing to do with sheephood, don't even dream that I will capitulate these jewels in the name of a tradition.
I completely agree with this statement... but my experience is that those who follow religion devoutly tend to be blind followers who will argue against discernment, self-thought, or critical thinking b/c they believe religion is "needed" to keep us in line. Such lack of faith in humanity... thinking that without religion we will become violent animals, when the truth is that historically religion has been propped up by those who hunger for power and control.
nice try but that's not what Buddhism is about. Buddhism is about getting in touch with the real you, minus all the external influences. Therefore, compared to other religions less bloodshed has been done in the name of Buddhism.
OK, maybe it is unfair to lump Buddhism in with other religions... it's true that Buddhism is pretty distinct in it's teachings compared to other more fundamentalist religions.
so you;re saying that every Dharma practitioners should smell bad dress up in rags and be like hippies? You dont care about the Dharma at all, just you and your own conception of what you think it is.
I use to be a nurse, I know the importance of hygiene dear one and I have never been a hippy.
"You don't care about...just you ...."Thank you for your peaceful thoughts I am sure you will receive the blessings of his holyness for that; Nice Dharma practice.
hmmm coming from someone with a bunch of sufi videos in their youtube profile claiming to be Buddhist i have my doubts, but still criticizing one form of Buddhism just because it dosent appear to the way you want is quite naive, no? It's a fun discussion, although a better place to do this is at the forums: tsemtulku(dot)com\Forum
I am not claiming anything dear one, the Sufi spiritual attainment is respected by most Masters of the tibetan tradition.(ask you will see).
I have heard over and over again the Dalai Lama saying(when he travels to France or other europeen countries) that one shouldn't post the buddhist label on his forehead for the simple pleasure of being called buddhist......
It's been too long that Buddhism has been stereotyped as a religion for the poor, the losers in life who cannot make it and problematic people while all the rich, powerful and stable people go to the rest. And if you think it should continue, please continue to bash Buddhist organizations who try so hard to change this sterotype
then why the earlier criticism against Rinpoche? His heart really cares deeply for each and every one of his students and I know for sure because I have met him and have been touched by his care and genuine love. The statements you made earlier are a huge accusation against him.
I understand, as I said before, this was my first video of him"quite surprising!!", I saw other ones since and I can see he is a sincere Rimpoche and a genuine spiritual practitionner with very cunning observations concerning human psychology and habits in spiritual practice. I apologise if I hurt your feelings but don't forget your Guru is untouched by all this.
Rimpoche can shout and be angry, contemptful but not his disciples.
Stop this ritual nonsense and get rid of this pompous decoration you have behind your back, then believe me you won't get these disciples that are a mirror of your beliefs dear Rimpoche.
Whats wrong with disciples like that? They are beings who need the most help. Rinpoche not complaining actually; he is compassion in accepting them as disciplies. He also talking about how most of us behave. Not everyone is can be perfect practitioner...if not they are Buddhas! Also if you know what the "pompous decoration" symbolise, then you won't say such things...is not for Rinpoche ego, is for pay respect to the Dharma. Oh yah, and Rinpoche not sitting on the throne so how can be pompous?
Yah but for many peoples, external is important to attract them to dharma. If monk is very poor, some peoples may not be attracted to dharma coz they thinks monk is poor coz no one supports. Different people is attracted to dharma in different ways, some is more mundane reasons than others. Anyways decoration behind Rinpoche isnt he buy himself, is his students offering. So what, don't let students offer and don't let them create merit?
Ok external aspect as a bait, why not.. unfortunately in this world there are many crooked Gurus who get a lot of money and attract and deceive many people.
I have seen other videos of Tsem Tulku Rimpoche since, he is great, cunning and very sincere, thank you.
SolAurum: That is part of his message but I think he is trying to say look deeper and not act based on our superficial ideas of what is right or wrong, clean or unclean, good or bad.
I love Rinpoche because I can relate to his funny and exaggerated scenarios and characters. Its hard to have fixed views of how a Lama or Rinpoche should act. Thus, I learn to listen to his teachings with as little bias and attachment. I find the moment I let go of the way he conveys the message, it becomes a powerful tool for self-examination.
Wow! What an amazing Lama! He can really teach us in such a way that blows are minds away. Sometimes we really neat such a rude awakening to realize how we operate. The moment we are irked by such teachings, it shows that it must be true for us because it affects us. I realized this after listening to many of Rinpoche's teachings.
Oh my god! He he he! I have seen many people in the center like that. They don't dare to be so obvious because Rinpoche's teachings are very glaringly obvious for everyone to gauge. I love Dharma teachings from Rinpoche because it allows us yardstick to check our practice.
Hahahaha, comic relief maybe? Laughter makes us pay attention and sometimes even laugh at ourselves. If we unable to laugh at ourselves means we are unable to take in the teachings.
What an honest teaching about the hypocritical attitude that we have towards our spiritual practice. We would use the Buddhas, the teachings and even our Lamas in our game of politics. Hence, we should understand the politics and avoid it in our practice.
Well, the Gurus and Buddhas are not bothered by small things that we are bothered by. They however are bothered by how we behave and act in harming others and ourselves although calling ourselves Buddhists.

Please watch again.

not entirely impossible that those who are being judged for expressing anger here are fragments and reflections of the same soul that is issuing 'guidance'.. in other words, the oneness karma balance reflection is asking for the denied essence and emotion to be accepted rather than pushed away as 'less than'.

I don't that'll work against lifetimes of negative habituation.
ragger101 9 months ago
that person that makes negative comments will probably only suffer the same negative karma that a child would suffer stepping on an ant.

Rinpoche really tries many ways to share the dharma and his talks are always very creative to use the current situations and circumstances to share the dharma with everyone.

bobwklim 1 year ago
@bobwklim Rinpoche is an incumbent of Gaden Monastery, and there is a video of him walking around in robes with other monks in Gaden, South India. Whether Rinpoche is gay or not does not matter, what matters is does his teaching benefit, some people do think so. His teaching may not benefit you, but you are not everyone.
If you disparage a teacher who holds his vows and teaches the dharma, the karmic repercussions are very heavy, if you believe in karma.

Ironic.
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@joonzfeat
maybe you're right! for some this might work...but to be fair, what message does he bring when he acts like a master disciplining his dog for something the dog has no clue of what he did!
for someone who claims to be enlightened he acts like a child...i read the dhamma today on this matter!
tell me what message did he bring??
about me being "bold" and "telling how buddhism should manifest"
open up the dhammapada and tell me again that i am bold.
i'm just stating the obvious..
TenTonTommy777 1 year ago
plus, and that is what he is...a gay washed up comedian! and that is not meant in offense!
a teacher should teach, clarify, lead by example and not point fingers and act like an infant with no self restraint on his emotions.
i'm not trying to convince you or whatever! but that's how i see it..nothing more!
i'm sure you have your point of view and that's ok!
i wish you a nice evening and good health :)
TenTonTommy777 1 year ago
@TenTonTommy777 "a teacher should teach, clarify, lead by example and not point fingers and act like an infant with no self restraint on his emotions." That may work for those who are ready to hear it, but seriously TenTon, have you looked around lately? If everyone were ready to hear the teachings of the Buddha in a sanguine delightful setting, then they would not need the words of the Buddha, yes? There are different levels and needs for all walks of life. This guy may not be teaching you,
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@joonzfeat So in order to teach a beginner-a bad actress acting u must act badly/and a person without good taste in clothes or make up u should dress in a bad taste-or a prostitute u should be a slut right?
delagrazia 1 year ago
@delagrazia What an odd question. 1st and foremost, the message is to let go of preconceived notions of what a teacher "acts" like. But would you not agree that when you see bad acting or poor dressing, it is an opportunity to learn how NOT to act or dress? So, 2nd, is to understand not all lessons come in the form of This is how to do something, but often can be in the form of This is how not to do something. Do we not learn from these experiences? Then the prostitute is your teacher. So, yes.
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@joonzfeat Is Riponche in the eyes of his students an example to be avoided?(or followed?-as far as some ppl immitate their teachers conduct +not only his teachings)did he say ":dont act like me?:"
delagrazia 1 year ago
@delagrazia Again you are attempting to categorize that which cannot be simply labeled. Perhaps to some he is an example of what they do not need, to others he is exactly what they do need. I cannot speak for how Rinpoche's students see him, nor can you. You do not like his style? Do not watch him, but to discount his methods because they are of no use to you, well, do you think you are the only judge as to the proper manifestation of the dharma? Let me know how that works out for you. ;)
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@jo u said
":do you think you are the only judge...of the dharma "
did I say I am A proper JUDGE+furthermore ...the ONLY judge?
+:"That is, who are you to criticize him?"..yeah...!
.who am I?
who are you?
who is he?
I can criticize him as he criticizes+as u criticize me..(and I probably do it in a more polite way than him,but then again, they are his students-they chose to expose themselves to that kind of critique+when they wont like it they will criticize too.I criticize HIS behavior not HIM
delagrazia 1 year ago
@delagrazia Then for god's sake go criticize him. I am growing weary of your petulance and inability to see how short sighted you are to be judging others when you certainly could use some open mindedness yourself. So I am done here. Good luck to you and your anger.

You give yourselves too much credit.
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@joonzfeat
but cleary you are annoyed..when i read your reply!! the "HA! me angry" sez alot..you surely took offense to that..you prolly got annoyed because i quoted buddha on you lol
and reading on the rest it seems like you always want to have the last word no matter what...in any case, if you don't care why bother to reply in such fashion??
TenTonTommy777 1 year ago
@TenTonTommy777 Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they are emotionally involved with you. You obviously want to egg me on, why? Does that make you feel superior? Your perception of my emotive state says more about you than me. You feel embarrassed that someone called you on your judging? Or that you have to quote the Buddha to make a point? Any fool can't quote, good luck with that if you think that is all is all one needs. :D
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@joonzfeat
no it doesn't but you clearly do!
and about me egging you on..ok wauw, if you really think that then you are projecting! so i'm a fool for quoting???
it doesn't even matter, you proved yourself more then enough with what you just said..and putting smileys behind it just proves your hiding behind the facade that tries to brush off the incompetence of an argument!
dude whatever you think of me...i really don't care since you allready made up your mind of what is and isn't...so
TenTonTommy777 1 year ago
@TenTonTommy777 You really prove your point when you use extra question marks. I never called you a fool, I said any fool can quote, you make that what you wish. you have thoroughly amused me today, or should I say today!!!!!!!! i think nothing ill of you whatsoever. why would i? because you called the Rinpoche a gay washed up comedian and then questioned my intentions? That only elicits compassion in me brother. You and your friend are just who the Rinpoche hopes to reach. Ah, the irony.
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@joonzfeat
TenTonTommy777 1 year ago
@joonzfeat
->because i was following the discussion between you and delagrazia...but you took it to personal....to my understanding!
and you are in no position to judge how i or others for that matter will reach what..you learn in life through experience not by hanging at the lips of a "enlightened master" and defend him with tooth and nail..if someones says something you don't like!
but that's my view on it.and again, this is nothing personal so don't get any strange ideas ^^
have a nice day
TenTonTommy777 1 year ago
@TenTonTommy777 If you boys hear anger, might try looking within. ;)
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@delagrazia Also, in case you missed my points earlier, different people are at different stages in their evolution. You wouldn't ask a Physics professor to teach a 5 year old math would you? No. There are some people who are more open to the rinpoche's approach, other's seek out the Dalai Lama. It takes all kinds of people to make up this world, to assume there is only one way to teach Buddhism, well that is the antithesis of Buddhism and belies a very narrow minded approach to learning.
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@joonzfeat a teacher should be able to talk to all sorts of ppl+no a 10year old (especially )would not benefit more from R.than from the Lama.ppl with a lower level as u say might get more comfused/the question in fact is if u can benefit from his knowledge without being influenced wrongly by his behaviour
delagrazia 1 year ago
@delagrazia Look up Expedient Means, then come back to me. A teacher CAN speak to all types of people, but to say that they are all qualified to teach to every person's ability to understand would be a grand over-generalization. Life is not so black and white. The real question is why do you need the Rinpoche to behave in a certain way to give him proper reverence? That is, who are you to criticize him? I mean no disrespect, but why does it matter so much to you? He is not harming you in any way
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@joonzfeat he is not harming me+coz I like diversity I(and i mean I)have no problem I can watch him/his behaviour wont affect me in a negative way but his behaviour is not a good example eventhough his teachings+or knowledge might be good but his behaviour isnt.He is funny till a point+annoying when he steps further than that. Most religions +philosophies teach moderation(budhism is one of those)Thus he does not represent that.Shock is specially chosen by some teachers for specific studentswhile
delagrazia 1 year ago
@joo ..he acts like this all the time (+towards all).(Being)silly is not a role model So his teachings are good(if are)if u have the maturity to overlook his behaviour and understand is just his personality and NOT part of the philosophy he teaches ,NOTpart of the things u should learn.U simply argue that DISCREPANCIES are good.
delagrazia 1 year ago
@joonzfeat If u say his behaviour is not to be avoided but is to be adopted, thats fine with me,coz....it would make a much funnier world. His teachings might make the world a better place but his behaviour makes it just funnier not holier some times exaggerated and others just ridiculous
delagrazia 1 year ago
@TenTonTommy777 but he might have a chance to teach others. I just don't find it healthy to say --THAT is the wrong way to teach, THAT is the wrong way to learn. I find it hard to believe that the Buddha would discount any method any bodhisattva used if he had the chance to reach even one person. So, this guy is not Your style, fair enough, but that doesn't make him impotent. You must realize that there are many out there who have never read the dhamma,
joonzfeat 1 year ago
nor gita, nor even the bible, and they need teachers too, teachers on their level, not yours. This man wears a robe, and you have to do 100,000 prostrations before you are ordained, so no matter what you think, he has put his time in and even if you don't like him, he deserves reverence. Have a wonderful evening as well, see you around!
joonzfeat 1 year ago
@TenTonTommy777 On the surface it seems like Rinpoche lost control. I've been with Rinpoche 18 years he has never lost control or acts out of anger. In Malaysia u have many people who shop for attention, dharma, gurus and spirituality. And in the end they lose out big time.

Have u seen Buddha's lost children it is abt a Theravadan monk who helps children on t border of thailand & this monk kicks ass as he was a former kick boxer

stages to enlightenment..is that typical mahayana or..?
TenTonTommy777 1 year ago
@TenTonTommy777 Lam Rim is Gelugpa, it is a manual/cookbook towards enlightenment. It covers the three scopes. Different scopes covers the different motivations of the practitioners.
Small Scope for people who wants a better rebirth, Medium Scope is the path share with people who wants self liberation, Great Scope those who want to traverse the Bodhisattva path.

k cool, thx for the info :)
TenTonTommy777 1 year ago
@TenTonTommy777 Lam Rim is not something just to read, it is something for us to meditate on. Meditate so we can enact a change in our mindstream. For example when we are studying about compassion, we meditate and mix our mind with the benefits of compassion. By mixing our mind with virtuous objects like compassion, slowly slowly we act out of compassion moment by moment. Its like a god wa to brainwash ourselves towards virtuous intentions and objects.

Be charitable.
Be kind to each other.
Be careful what you say.
Be careful how you act.
What more do we need?

@loveruleshate : In the Mahayana, skillful means are used in order to teach and help make people practice dharma correctly. Sometimes, things can seem one way but actually be different from how they seem. He is scolding members of his following and using slightly wrathful means to teach effectively. From applying what he says, I have seen improvements in my own moral conduct, so it works for me. I also find him quite funny at times, as well.

Be wise.

Tsem Tulku is so hilarous and very serious about the teachings.
Crazy wisdom, I like it...
Thank you so much for your direct teachings!

this was the first video that I saw with HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, and it's really what brought me back to the practice of Dharma.
Many prayers for the long life of His Eminence, and my sincere hope that he continue spreading the Dharma.

Very interesting! Thank you Tsem Tulku Riponche, for your excellent advices.
You don't have a false morgue of a saint, you don't paint the reality. You are in XXI century, and you are living between fell people. You speek in "their language".
Thank you!"

You think being buddhist is about being calm? please don't be so narrow minded, what teachings do you have for us? I think your words would hold water if you have lots of teachings on youtube for the benefit of others, oh but thats right you don't...hmmm i would be very careful who you speak rudely to also... bad karma dude Lamas are not ordinary beings.
prettyVYcadillac 2 years ago 4
Dude, watch the video and try and not tell me that is a bad advertisement for Buddhists. I like to go and see my buddist teacher in uni and know that I´m talking to someone who can help me. Not someone who sits there and makes baby noises and prances like a fag. I´d never take him serious that way. He´s an embarrassment.
Australiano75 2 years ago
What about you? Have you watch the whole video? Obviously not! For someone who can't even spell 'Buddhist' correctly, I wonder what authority within Buddhists circle you hold for you to approve or disapprove? Take this: Tsem Rinpoche is recognised as a reincarnate Rinpoche by HH the 14th Dalai Lama & he took his ordination vows from HH himself. So you have higher authority than the Dalai Lama? What a silly joke... LOL Get a life dude!
Ninje08 2 years ago
Um idiot, did you just see my last comment (see below) I did spell it corretly. been smoking too much of your happy herbs have ya? can´t read. Oh and who gives a shit where he went. He´s an idiot, he would make me nervous sitting in the same vicinity as him, and I bet alot of others would too. Just because someone has a name or a title doesn´t make them intelligent and rightous in to acting like an idiot. And who said I had higher life then the DD, you get a life. And let me have my rant!
Australiano75 2 years ago
Haha... yeah right...
Ninje08 2 years ago
Mr Autraliano75,
U nervous?
Ninje08 2 years ago 4
Ok, I´m over bad mouthing him. Sorry for the outburst it was a bit silly. But if you can see that I was a bit silly in the way I was acting, surely you can see the way this guy is carrying on is not normal. He makes me nervous screaming, spitting and yelling like a 12 year old, really dude, analyze it. And just becase the DL titled him, doesn´t make him oh wise man. I will go and watch your film, but I am giving my opinion about how he´s acting in this clip, that is all. Peace to you my friend.
Australiano75 2 years ago

Not keeping my head in the sand lah, just don't see how political and financial power affect how well I keep my vows, or how regularly I do my sadhana or practice :)
tnznshrb 2 years ago
What political statement lah? Just responding to your comment only. Is not about naive - just wondering why you want to even consider about political and financial powers? If doubt is illusion, then those powers is also illusion. After you die, those power effects on you is over so why you want to worry? Worry about your practice and finding right lama first. Like I said before, external things and tradition attracts many people. If not for you, not for you lah. Got 84000 different methods.
tnznshrb 2 years ago
Brother you started saying I was spreading doubt among the Sangha, this is not a light accusation!!
I am praticing awareness and discernment for myself and others , don't mistake my intention.
If you wan't to keep your head in the sand concerning political and financial power surrounding religious institutions, this is your choice, not mine.
Peace and Love dear one.
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
Very true.
topformfitness 2 years ago
religion, financial power, politics etc is all part and parcel of human society. It's everywhere. to expect it to not be in religion is naive. But at least in Buddhism it is used to draw people who are attracted to these into doing something good. BTW buddhism isnt about running away to a place that does not have political manuverings, its about using them to do good.
nekoboy86 2 years ago
I never said that ,on the contrary I said that awareness of these powers was important.
I am certainly not promoting escapism, facing every issue one may encounter is important.
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
Ya, I suppose I'd agree with that... it's a good way to explain it.
topformfitness 2 years ago
Yah got many crooked Gurus but Rinpoche also say before not to accept lamas blindly. People should check out teachers before accepting...and then when accept already and take refuge, stop doubt and go all the way. Anyways, maybe someone is give you minus one because you are support wrong view and promote doubt about lamas and Buddhist traditions?
tnznshrb 2 years ago
Yes and maybe you are just using this to make a political understatement. I know the political and financial powers hovering behind every religious institution. Don't pretend to be naive .
Doubt is an illusion brother, you should know that. Awareness and discerment has nothing to do with sheephood, don't even dream that I will capitulate these jewels in the name of a tradition.
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
I completely agree with this statement... but my experience is that those who follow religion devoutly tend to be blind followers who will argue against discernment, self-thought, or critical thinking b/c they believe religion is "needed" to keep us in line. Such lack of faith in humanity... thinking that without religion we will become violent animals, when the truth is that historically religion has been propped up by those who hunger for power and control.
topformfitness 2 years ago
nice try but that's not what Buddhism is about. Buddhism is about getting in touch with the real you, minus all the external influences. Therefore, compared to other religions less bloodshed has been done in the name of Buddhism.
nekoboy86 2 years ago
Everyone knows that.
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
OK, maybe it is unfair to lump Buddhism in with other religions... it's true that Buddhism is pretty distinct in it's teachings compared to other more fundamentalist religions.
topformfitness 2 years ago
so you;re saying that every Dharma practitioners should smell bad dress up in rags and be like hippies? You dont care about the Dharma at all, just you and your own conception of what you think it is.
nekoboy86 2 years ago
I use to be a nurse, I know the importance of hygiene dear one and I have never been a hippy.
"You don't care about...just you ...."Thank you for your peaceful thoughts I am sure you will receive the blessings of his holyness for that; Nice Dharma practice.
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
hmmm coming from someone with a bunch of sufi videos in their youtube profile claiming to be Buddhist i have my doubts, but still criticizing one form of Buddhism just because it dosent appear to the way you want is quite naive, no? It's a fun discussion, although a better place to do this is at the forums: tsemtulku(dot)com\Forum
nekoboy86 2 years ago
I am not claiming anything dear one, the Sufi spiritual attainment is respected by most Masters of the tibetan tradition.(ask you will see).
I have heard over and over again the Dalai Lama saying(when he travels to France or other europeen countries) that one shouldn't post the buddhist label on his forehead for the simple pleasure of being called buddhist......
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
It's been too long that Buddhism has been stereotyped as a religion for the poor, the losers in life who cannot make it and problematic people while all the rich, powerful and stable people go to the rest. And if you think it should continue, please continue to bash Buddhist organizations who try so hard to change this sterotype
nekoboy86 2 years ago
Is poor an insult!
I have no problem with wealthy people(believe me!), what counts is the heart, not the religion ,the creed or the bank account.
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
then why the earlier criticism against Rinpoche? His heart really cares deeply for each and every one of his students and I know for sure because I have met him and have been touched by his care and genuine love. The statements you made earlier are a huge accusation against him.
nekoboy86 2 years ago
I understand, as I said before, this was my first video of him"quite surprising!!", I saw other ones since and I can see he is a sincere Rimpoche and a genuine spiritual practitionner with very cunning observations concerning human psychology and habits in spiritual practice. I apologise if I hurt your feelings but don't forget your Guru is untouched by all this.
jamwolfsky 2 years ago 2
Oh dear, someone said something nasty about my guru Rimpoche , I am going to give him a minus One...... Waaaaa. "LOL"
Did you really listen to what he teaches ??
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
Dharma bashing!!
Rimpoche can shout and be angry, contemptful but not his disciples.
Stop this ritual nonsense and get rid of this pompous decoration you have behind your back, then believe me you won't get these disciples that are a mirror of your beliefs dear Rimpoche.
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
Whats wrong with disciples like that? They are beings who need the most help. Rinpoche not complaining actually; he is compassion in accepting them as disciplies. He also talking about how most of us behave. Not everyone is can be perfect practitioner...if not they are Buddhas! Also if you know what the "pompous decoration" symbolise, then you won't say such things...is not for Rinpoche ego, is for pay respect to the Dharma. Oh yah, and Rinpoche not sitting on the throne so how can be pompous?
tnznshrb 2 years ago
The Dharma doesn't need decorations or prayers to exterior objects!!
The best way to honour the Dharma is to discover your true nature and honour it....
Did you really listen to what Rimpoche said!!
By the way there is nothing wrong : ).
Blessings to you , Rimpoche and his disciples.
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
Yah but for many peoples, external is important to attract them to dharma. If monk is very poor, some peoples may not be attracted to dharma coz they thinks monk is poor coz no one supports. Different people is attracted to dharma in different ways, some is more mundane reasons than others. Anyways decoration behind Rinpoche isnt he buy himself, is his students offering. So what, don't let students offer and don't let them create merit?
tnznshrb 2 years ago
Ok external aspect as a bait, why not.. unfortunately in this world there are many crooked Gurus who get a lot of money and attract and deceive many people.
I have seen other videos of Tsem Tulku Rimpoche since, he is great, cunning and very sincere, thank you.
jamwolfsky 2 years ago
So in a nutshell, it's basically practice what you preach. Never heard of this guy before but he's pretty good.
SolAurum 2 years ago
SolAurum: That is part of his message but I think he is trying to say look deeper and not act based on our superficial ideas of what is right or wrong, clean or unclean, good or bad.
frozbyte23 2 years ago
I love Rinpoche because I can relate to his funny and exaggerated scenarios and characters. Its hard to have fixed views of how a Lama or Rinpoche should act. Thus, I learn to listen to his teachings with as little bias and attachment. I find the moment I let go of the way he conveys the message, it becomes a powerful tool for self-examination.
Dungkar80 2 years ago
Wow! What an amazing Lama! He can really teach us in such a way that blows are minds away. Sometimes we really neat such a rude awakening to realize how we operate. The moment we are irked by such teachings, it shows that it must be true for us because it affects us. I realized this after listening to many of Rinpoche's teachings.
bhusukumode 2 years ago
Oh my god! He he he! I have seen many people in the center like that. They don't dare to be so obvious because Rinpoche's teachings are very glaringly obvious for everyone to gauge. I love Dharma teachings from Rinpoche because it allows us yardstick to check our practice.
Dungkar80 2 years ago
good but why is he doign a french accent?
Tightmanhole 2 years ago
Hahahaha, comic relief maybe? Laughter makes us pay attention and sometimes even laugh at ourselves. If we unable to laugh at ourselves means we are unable to take in the teachings.
frozbyte23 2 years ago
What an honest teaching about the hypocritical attitude that we have towards our spiritual practice. We would use the Buddhas, the teachings and even our Lamas in our game of politics. Hence, we should understand the politics and avoid it in our practice.
bhusukumode 2 years ago
Well, the Gurus and Buddhas are not bothered by small things that we are bothered by. They however are bothered by how we behave and act in harming others and ourselves although calling ourselves Buddhists.
Dungkar80 2 years ago
Genial, simplemente genial¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡. Sobre todo cuando dice: ¿ Tu quieres practicar dharma o quieres practicar samsara?" Genial.
migatoyyo 2 years ago
