I used to live in Albany. My friend was a Trooper who used to sleep in his bed while he was on duty. When he got a call, he would say he was out of the car on foot patrol. LOSER.

His friend was also a Trooper who played pick-up basketball for two hours in a high school gym while on duty. LOSER.

My friend would get drunk and drive home. I asked him how could he take those chances. He said he was a Trooper. LOSER !

My trooper friend is a Prima Donna. To say the least.

NY state Police are some of the most Profesionals officer I have met and I have lived in a lot of states. I got hit for 97 in 65 on my Cbr600rr. The trooper was just a great guy..then again it was first speeding ticket in 23 years. He actually told me to to go to court and plead not guilty

I live in Albany county and every local and state cop I see, are always assholes and breaking the law themselves. Hell Schenectady police are always in trouble or being arrested themselves lol.
