I can remember walking past the Sorento Maternity Home almost every day 40 years ago. A lovely clean place with well manicured gardens . What a wicked shame to let such a building fall to such a level.

Personally I want to see these houses re-occupied. In Birmingham we have 15,000 families on the housing waiting list, BUT have 17,000 empty properties like these. It is immoral the number of high quality houses in roads like Cotton Lane, Oxford Road and Greenhill Road, Moseley, have been left empty for years.

my mum used to live in moseley 25yrs ago so i watch with interest, im not on the housing ladder in bromsgrove and this sort of thing saddens me as we have vacant properties too, unless a council compulsory purchase order is final alot of period character will be lost, let me know if you could create a name + shame of vacant property info,
