i just bought a brush set today although mine has les. items mines has a al over face brush, a face blending brush white tips, foundation brush, eyeshadow brush crease brush, smudge brush,eyeliner brush , a eyebrow brush with a brow comb, plus another brush with white shimery powder inside already . ALso has a roll up brush case.

i like the one u have thou. more items inside and i think its totally worth it . i got mine for $ 24.99 .

and the handels are white with litle diamods on the ends

I absolutely love this set. i bought the last 2 sets and they get better every time. The bristles are soft and don't fall out more than my expensive bobbi brown ones which didn't age very well btw. Just went back to my costco and they are plum out. Wanted to buy a couple for my family and friends. oh well. anyone have extras i can buy :) can't wait for next year!

i bought this brush set today well its a new year now and instead of a brush cleaner it came with a shimmer powder and a roll out case instead of that one but yeh i really like this one alot more cause i'd rather have a brush cleaner then a shimmer powder and the kubuki brush or watever i had one from bare minerals which is probably alot more exspensive and the one i got from costco was sooo much softer so i threw the other one away but i just wanted to thank you for the recomendation (:

Hey, I just wanted to know, fr anyone who has the most recent set, with the mineral powder and the fabric case. How is the powder and what is it for (yes, I'm a beginner at this makeup stuff)? Also, more importantly, how is the fabric case? I would think that since its fabric, it doesn't protect the brushes well enough for me to toss them in my bag. like, the brushes could bend, couldn't they?

it's a mineral shimmer powder and it can really be used for anything! I use the kabuki brush and put shimmer on my temples and in a "c" shape over my eyebrow bone down to my cheekbone andsometimes i use one of the eyeshadow brushes to apply the shimmer to my eyelids to help blend and also to make my eyes stand out. Another way you can use itis to take a bit of it and mix it with moisturizer to make your face dewy. the case is fabric but your brushes will be fine in it.

I got the Costco set a few years ago when it was the "Hana K" Brand, with NO Kabuki Brush!  Waah! I already had a good set of basic brushes, but I saw this and was like, Wow, all the little specials I'd only use once in a blue moon, and I can afford it! I actually use the angled shadow brush a lot, and it's still holding up, after like, three or four years!

:) If you have hooded eyes you can put your shadow up and beyond your lid so that the color shows up :) I hope this helps :)
