  • Dois gênios do tênis!!

  • Agassi would have had just as many grand slams as Federer if it wasn't for Sampras. Sampras would have had twice as many grand slams if it wasn't for Agassi. I think that if Federer was thrown in the mix he wouldn't have anymore than 5 grand slams

  • agassi looks like mike portnoy of dream theater lol

  • They were both Americans. And some guys wonder about why they were more commercially appealing. THEY WERE FROM THE FUCKING USA! Federer is Swiss and Nadal is Spanish!!!!! DO YOU NEED A MAP? Being American, I'm sure you do.

  • by far this is the best tennis commercial ever. they should do something with Fed and Rafa. though they're much less marketable since they're not american

  • they fired the '90s with their challenges..2 styles so different anyway so winning..

but Sampras' style of serve is something you should show to children who learn to play tennis

  • In Agassi's book, he says this commercial was shot in San Francisco, not NY.

  • lol even with Roger Federer & Nadal's awesome records still they aren't as popular as those guys were in back in the days. I wonder why?? was tennis popular back in 80s & 90s?

  • The sport of tennis was marketed a lot better in the 90s than it is today, had more charismatic players than today, and the depth of talent was considerably better too. Had Federer played in the 90s, he wouldn't have half the Grand Slams he has today. And players like Davydenko wouldn't have even seen the top 15. Furthermore, there were so many contrasting styles of play in the 80s and the 90s - - each well represented by a number of incredibly talented players.

  • That is true about the charsmatic players.I was into basketball but these guys stood out so much you had to pay attention

  • do you even watch todays tennis?!! When Federer was in his prime he would have wopped any one. When Nadal was in his prime he could have beaten alot of player from the 90's. Are you serious?!! Federer's game is so powerful even the almight Sampras, Agassi, and Laver say that he is the greatest.

  • When Federer was in his prime, he still lost to Nadal. Agassi retracted his statement about Fed being the best, adding something to the effect that "How can someone be called the greatest of all time when there is someone who 'owns' them?" Referring to Rafa of course. Also, Laver never said in clear terms that Roger was the greatest either. Again, Roger benefitted from a very weak generation of tennis players. No one with any knowlege of tennis history would deny that.

  • Fed only lost to Nadal on Clay when he was in his prime.

    His prime was 04,05,06

Sampras Agassi, Borg, McEnroe, Laver, Kramer, Navratilova, BJ King and Nadal himself have all said Federer is the GOAT.

And i doubt agassi said that considering his excitement when fed won the French. Can you provide a link? i wanna read it.

  • Andre did say that.....and it was during an Longines event that auctioned off a few very limited edition watches. There was a link at the Men's Tennis Forums that showed the video of it.

  • @TheMrFett Yeah, thing is that in Andres autobiography... as well as Sampras autobiography, they each claim that Federer is one of the GOAT's. That's in print. To say that Federer comes from a weak generation is a serious bias view that is 100% not true. Tennis gets more coverage these days around the world. The only reason Agassi and Sampras seemed like that were a big deal is because of amazing American marketing. Go to a European country and Fed/Nadal are treated in the exact same way.

  • @TheMrFett

youre actually right about that weaker generation. at least in his first successful years with ppl like roddick being the greatest adversaries lol. but its hardly his fault that no one else was able to make the transition to the modern day tennis as well as he did. hes the only one i could see playing successful today and 20 years ago cause he mastered everything. does that not make him the greatest after all?

  • @TheMrFett Yeah, 'cause Philipoussis to have an example was much better than guys nowadays. A guy that nowadays is broke, and back then was only serve and volley, like Roddick is. Where's Roddick nowadays with the one of the most poweful serves in HISTORY? Where's Karlovic? Those guys back in the days would have been supermegastars. Luckily, nowadays, people have enough skills to know how to answer an amazingly fast serve.

  • God, I miss these guys!

  • This has to be one of the best commercials of all time! I especially like the part at the end where they start throwing things at the bus lol

  • why rhcp? S:

  • woah im sorry but you have it wrong their buddy. Pete and Andre and better then Federer and Nadal.

  • SUPER NIKE!!!!!!!!!

  • they need each other. Both are sort of perfection underneath differents disguise. Best commercial! Thanks

  • 0:49 Sansome (street) -- that's S.F. A bus also has Market (street) - also S.F.

  • Looks like San Francisco, not New York, judging from the Muni buses.

    Cool commercial.

  • great comercial !

  • Andre 4 Life. That bus...savage!

  • whats the name of the song

  • Who is next by Wax

Its off their album 13 Unlucky Numbers

  • no.. Agassi's POWNS Sampras

  • Nope. Agassi was great, but Sampras was the best of all time.

  • I love it. This gives me energy.

  • Yea!...That commercial was TITS!..Thanks for the post!..Those were some STELLAR matches between Agasi and Sampras!...Tennis will NEVER be that good ever again!

  • Sampras own Agassi.

  • another classic Agassi commercial, thank you!
