I am watching this video and have to say things have changed since my day. I was there back in 97. Back then things were tougher. Drills would smoke you for no reason, and if your locker was not secure you would find your gear all over the barracks when you got back. And you did not get to ride in a bus. You got moved around in a cattle car.

you mean as a second lieutant? and depends on ur school and pms and direction. personally my school is infantry motivated, and our pms is a grad from west point, and we did everything in this video and then some. whereas thats 9-10 weeks, we do it for 4 years

and most of us in rotc already been to basic, or going to. so rotc, is not a vacation, cause u also gotta maintain good grades at the same time.

I have some really good friends that were medics in Iraq. They served with the 1st Marine Division and saved numerous Marines. He had the same training as other ARMY medics. And by the way... why are Marines typically short in ht.? Perhaps little man syndrome?

The ARMY should not train like ROTC....they are supposed to protect the US....fortunately for us we have the Marines...the ARMY aside from the Para's and Beret's are fucking weak.
