Then my grandma passed away and he remarried and moved to Kingwood and now he goes to Atascocita. Anyway I just thought that was crazy that you go there.

@anarchydance Most Pentecostal/Apostolics girls tend to have longer hair. So it's not really a "hairstyle" method or anything, just a way of helping out sisters w/ long hair handle their hair in a nice way.

I just had to comment on this.... I'm not pentecostal or anything, instead I'm a Wesleyn Methodist (which is similar to pentecostal), so I must say this is a beautiful style :) I've always had trouble with my long hair, but this defintitely gives me ideas! Besides that, I just wanted to say that why are people aruging over HOW she looks? It's our choice as Christians to dress and look the way we do, because it's modesty. It takes a real person to stand up and stand out for what they believe in.
I don't understand how putting so much effort into doing your hair, and using so much un-natural methods like hairspray, straitening irons, teasing, is supposed to be 'modest'. Isnt' the point of not cutting your hair supposed to be respecting your body the way god created it? Then doing all this stuff to it is kind of anti-productive...

I understand why people call Apostolics a cult. Because they don't look like mainstream culture. They have exclusive beliefs that are not shared with others. And they are not the ordinary person you see on the street. But to tell you the truth. The reason why they are not like others is because they simply obey what the word of God says. The bible gives them instructions and they follow them. People call it strange. But if you read the bible. What they do comes straight from the word of God.
I'm a Pentecostal/Apostolic teenager, and these hairstyles really help me "fit in" with the other girls at church. They always have nice hair like yours, and it makes me feel left out..... Not anymore! Thank you for helping me :D

You may have had experience with judgemental Pentecostals, but that does NOT mean that all Pentecostals are!! I love long hair and I love, love this hairstyle... unfortunately I can't have long hair because when it gets past my shoulders it gets so frizzy that I'd have to straighten it for hours every day and I can't do anything with it, it just looks terrible. And I have a stupid cowlick at the back of my part which is highly annoying... but I have to say that this just looks amazing, it doesn't matter what your affiliation is, beautiful hair is beautiful hair! It reminds me of vintage :) So cute!

i just tried it and i love it. i had some doubts though b/c i didn't think it would be shout proof, but it seems very sturdy. my hair isn't that long and my bun is still big. i added a big flower to the side by my ear. thanx for putting this vid up. it's nice to get new ideas ecspecially the lastest hair styles.

I understand why people call Apostolics a cult. Because they don't look like mainstream culture. They have exclusive beliefs that are not shared with others. And they are not the ordinary person you see on the street. But to tell you the truth. The reason why they are not like others is because they simply obey what the word of God says. The bible gives them instructions and they follow them. People call it strange. But if you read the bible. What they do comes straight from the word of God.

And you might think that you praying to the laptop is the same to praying to God, you are completely deceived. I can't even explain the things I have gone through with God. Nobody knows what religion is right, but from my personal experience, it doesn't matter what religion you are. Wearing skirts doesn't get you into Heaven and neither does not cutting your hair. @missDtheoneandonly I have read the bible MYSELF and it says you MUST repent and be BAPTIZED...The devil also believes in God and that doesn't he is saved. Its a shame for you to say that and miss lead someone. and i didnt say you have to long hair as woman..not everyone is able to grow their hair long. Your blinded for saying that. It said that it need to be uncut because a woman's hair is her glory to God and brings angels. So when you do read your Bible, try to read over those parts:).

The Bible did say you could get into Heaven with cut hair, but like I said it's God's glory and your glory.
So when you do read your Bible, try to read over those parts again for better understanding:).

You won't get any results in praying because god answers in "yes" "no" and "Wait" The Pastor for a church i belonged to at one time. This is how god answers prayers. I got the same results praying to my bicycle when i was a kid. LOL It's an illusion. Your minds are all fogged.

I was born and raised in a pentecostal church and found the level of hypocricy to be overwhelming...Do you really enjoy being told what to wear or how to wear your hair. I don't. By the way,it's no longer the year 1800. I've found life to be much more enjoyable without religion in general. I am heavily tattooed and everytime a pentecostal sees me they look at me like I'm the devil himself. LOL Well,my next tattoo is for you.

@kevykev38 Most of my best friends are pentecostals and I've known them almost my whole life. You may have had experience with judgemental Pentecostals, but that does NOT mean that all Pentecostals are!! I've gone to many Pentecostal churches because my friends are from different areas, and the majority of Pentecostals are NOT judgemental!! Many are loving and caring. There are also many people outside of the church who are judgemental. did you ever think of that?!

I don't see them as haters or moralists. that title belongs to the Apostolics. But even they do what they think is right. yeah, they are a cult, but be nice to em, OK?

@kevykev38 i will say it again. I AM NOT AN APOSTOLIC. AoG and CoG are trinitarians, that is, they are real christians. Look, in neither case do we hate anyone. we might condemn whatever kind of lifestyle that someone is living contrary to the Bible, but that is very different than hate. On the contrary, we care about all such people and want them to have a relationship with Jesus. Speaking in tongues and the length of one's hair doesn't make you a Christian. Faith alone does that.

I love long hair and I love, love this hairstyle... unfortunately I can't have long hair because when it gets past my shoulders it gets so frizzy that I'd have to straighten it for hours every day and I can't do anything with it, it just looks terrible. And I have a stupid cowlick at the back of my part which is highly annoying... but I have to say that this just looks amazing, it doesn't matter what your affiliation is, beautiful hair is beautiful hair! It reminds me of vintage :) So cute!

i just tried it and i love it. i had some doubts though b/c i didn't think it would be shout proof, but it seems very sturdy. my hair isn't that long and my bun is still big. i added a big flower to the side by my ear. thanx for putting this vid up. it's nice to get new ideas ecspecially the lastest hair styles.
