  • @SpaceGuitar69

Thx bro Marko. With all the jammin' in the last half, I thought this version would get more watches than it has. I'm glad you like it.

  • I think Jimi would approve. Nice job.

  • Here Steve & EXP come to save the day!

  • @nickeldemous

    Thanks, Bro!

  • WOW !!!!!!!!!! jimi would be proud !!!!!!! i've never seen a band with the rawness and feeling pouring out of every note !!!!!!! you need to send this to BILLY COX !!!! great job. keep it going !!!! by the way, what amp and cab does your bass player use ?

  • @svt556

That is a super cool comment to find. I'll have to answer for the band. Keith, the bass player, has used many amps. Judging from these videos, the one I see the most is a Randall (shaped like a Marshall head) that had about 8 EQ knobs and about 300 watts RMS. I don't know what the bass cab is/was. Might have been 2 15's. or 4 12's.(shaped like a Marshall cab too)

  • Fuck yeah! Love it.

  • @uzimother

Ironic.... that term sounds positive and I can dig it.

    Thank you

  • awesome keep his music alive!

    Very cool.

  • SOUNDS FIUCKIN AWSOME!!! and i Love Jimi hendrix dude, and NO ONE does this song man! you guys are the shit...but i gotta say the vocals need work a little...but you guys got the soul and sound

  • @CommBreakDown

    Thanks for the fantastic comment!

  • Don't listen to pypower. Your tempos are perfect. Classic rookie mistake is to play too fast. You guys are way cool.

  • @Vitotesta

Thank you very much. Very cool remark.

  • hey you guys are not bad,but you could do with speeding your tempo up. these songs require a little speed but not to much..

  • Okay. If you say so.

  • Christmas eve 2009 and almost down on my first bottle of wine, jammin some video favs.Love this jam,Steve Webb hitting it right with this,This is one the jams you never heard Jimi play live.Peace and Love to Hendrix diciples worldwide

  • One of the coolest statements yet. It's great to hear you feel that way about it.

  • man what a cover, and then while i scrolled down to read the comments from fellow Hendrix fans i felt like i was listening to a Hendrix album.I hope they play here in Houston Tx or even Austin Tx.I just heard of this band from a comment on another video. Thanks

  • Really a great comment and I thank you. Sorry, Steve & the band probably won't be making it to Austin any time soon. Thanks a lot for watching.

  • Nice job fellas!! Kudos for even attempting to cover this Jimi masterpiece!!!

  • Sure do appreciate that, jimistreets. Thanks a lot.

  • Excellent. Thanks for sharing. Nadine

  • excellent bon travail merci por la vidéo

  • Très très agréable de vous

    Merci Beaucoup

(a translation was used, I hope that is correct)

  • Fantastic! This is a cover you rarely see/hear.

    Great job, guys!

    BTW, SpaceGuitar69 sent me.

  • Thanks once again, motorpsych0. Very nice comment.

I'm very thankful that Marko went out of his way to help promote the video. He's been super cool about that.

  • Once again Steve & EXP blow me away with another atypical Hendrix tune, performed, of course, musically right-on-the-money! Really groovy and out-of-sight, man!

I have NEVER heard this song covered by anyone til now. Did Hendrix ever perform this song live? I'm not aware of it. If not, then Steve & EXP have that distinction and honor.

And I agree 100% with what jjmc60 said about 99.99% of the bands.

    Electrixladyland

  • Thanks electrix. Always positive and I sure do appreciate it.

I know of no live versions by Hendrix, but Steve did tell me it was inspired by one famous, very long, studio jam. The first half of the song, pretty much stuck to the original studio version and the end guitar half, although jammed, the inspiration came from that long Hendrix version, jammed in the studio.

  • EXCELLENT*****!!!

  • Thanks again, for still another positive comment.

  • Fantastico!!!!!!!5/5*****

  • Thanks for all your great support, Marko

    Peace & Good vibes

  • Good Cover.

    5 Stars

    HENDRIXIANS UNITE!

    PEACE

  • Alright, thanks so much, newzealndAllBlacks.

Thanks a lot for watching, rating, and commenting.

  • 99.99% of bands wouldn't have a clue how to cover this in the studio. For all three of you to nail it live says it all. Brilliant.

  • That's one of the nicest statements I've read yet. Thanks a ton, jjmc60

  • Great Hendrix cover ! 5 starz

  • Thanks Bob

and thanks for the speaker info too. That was eye opening.

  • FANTASTIC!!! BIG GUITAR!!! Thank you!!

  • Two comments, makes it that much better. Much appreciation, Bro.

  • LONG LIVE THE MUSICAL SPIRIT OF JIMI HENDRIX!!! Thanks my friend!!

  • Thanks so much, Lucenablues.

  • Another classic guys - 5***** as always

    Love and peace

    Malcolm

    Peace & Groovy vibes.
