@Krauser012345 The additional characters weren't originally planned when the game debuted. The extra characters, AND the extra chapters (LIN and DE) were developed AFTER Resident Evil 5 was already out. They weren't trying to screw the fans--quite the opposite for releasing additional content.

Proof; the Gold Edition has ALL of the extra content included for the same price as the original. Again, the extra content was thought of AFTER the original game was released.

I've never heard such blatant fanboyism. Almost none of the characters suggested here have anything to do with RE5. They picked the best characters all things considered. Reuniting the original team from RE1 was a great idea and Josh and Excella are part of the plot. Give a new character a chance and stop drooling over Leon, he was in RE4 and it's tradition to give heroes a rest between games. He had weak melee attacks anyway.
