This is obviusly real. As long as the brain is intact and you hook everything up in the matter of ten or so minutes it will bw find. This device is called the autojrctor and is the first heart and lung machine created. Affter this he created one for the use of humans and it is currently in the museum of cardiovascular surgery in Russia. The man had won an the lenin award.

To be honest the best method for achieving real reanimation would bprobably be some sort of metamorphosis nanovirus which could use chemical or physical means to herd cells around the body and force new ones to grow. A corpse with a reasonably intact brain could be resurrected using such a transformation process. Since memories are stored as proteins in the brain, an at least partial restoration of conciousness could be achieved.

Okay, I've been looking into this now. I think it may be real. Check out info on Dr White and the Monkeys head transplant. He wanted funding to do this with a human subject but couldn't get it. He went to Russia and claims to have witnessed this stuff for himself as well as meeting a two-headed dog that they had "created". Gruesome but interesting. Raises all kinds of questions about identity and the human soul. Apparently he managed to transplant a monkey head onto a different monkey body!?

Yeah, I found it fascinating and was very excited to dig up this footage and obtain it from the Soviet film archives.. Partly because I also believe that your theory is somewhat correct; As I was pronounced legally dead on two separate occasions and I never been the same since, unfortunately..
