If you move left and right you're able to do a hit and run routine, which while a small impact could give you an upperhand... It also raises your evasion.. moving forward and back gives you a raised attack for skills and back for parry and block defense.. if you attack their back then they cannot block or parry as well as causes them to have to turn around to attack.. AND it confuses the fuck out of him.. and btw its fuck.. not fawk

I appreciate all the work you put into the video, but it's just you running around slapping people with your stick and dying, or getting a few lucky kills off of lowbies. I like to watch PvP videos to see and learn how professional PvPers take down players- especially with an underbalanced class like Chanter- and this video exhibited no show of exceptional skill.

he's not killing lowbies...he's lvl20-25 throughout the vid. since u gotta b lvl 25 to enter the abyss, he's obviously pvp'ing people equal or higher lvl than him. And as for the rifting part he was between lvls 20-23 in a lvl 20-25 zone. You can't show "exceptional skill" when you're only lvl 25. its not his fault that chanters don't start to shine until 42/45.

no need to fly down. when the system dismounts you, just fall down. right before u fall to the ground press space bar to glide or if ure falling straight down simply press the flight again. it will have a couple of seconds refreshed already, so you can land safely

At what level? The ranger only starts to get good after level 19. And from what I have read the chanter learns less offensive spell between levels 25-40. Between those levels you pretty much only learn additional buffs.

chanter is made for buffs, AND (you can choose) DPS, or supporting heal. (in many cases, a good chanter is able to heal enough, but in the end, ya´ll better take a cleric with you.)

you shoud go celeric. they are great healers (more then chanters), they wear plate and shield because the chanter is more a buffer/h.o.t. (heal over time) then a pure healer

In lower levels, clerics do a LOT of damage. There are manastones ("gems" you socket) that raise your magic boost that you can use earlier on to do more damage in PvE/PvP (it does not boost your healing, though). In one of the closed betas I took a cleric to level 23 with full magic boost socketed and I did a TON of damage.
