Just as Genius and Refill are referred to as Genis and Raine despite the fact that you can hear otherwise, even though in Japanese Zelos calls Lloyd "hunny," in the translation he was called "bud," so he's "bud" here too.

Anna, a test subject for the Angelus Project in needing to make a Cruxis Crystal. Kratos met her, fell in love, and got married, but Mithos wouldn't leave them alone, so Kvar chased after them. During their 2 yr run, she gave birth to Lloyd. Kvar caught up with them, turned Anna into a monster, and Kratos killed her out of desperation to save his son. Then Lloyd, Noishe, and Anna fell down the cliff, where Dirk found them. She died after asking Dirk to take Lloyd under his care.

Is 'fandalia flowers' a reference to the country of Phandalia in Tales of Destiny...? I haven't really heard of a flower of that name before...and the katakana for both names are the same.

...You know, it might well be. The fandalias aren't referenced in-game save in a side quest in which you need to cure Raine of Ozette flu, and I'm not terribly familiar with ToD, so I hadn't connected that 'til now. I'd always assumed it was just a fictitious flower like the selenias in Abyss.
