Some times these cagers that know its not illegal still try to run you over or open their doors on you,You did the right thing by Video taping it so that way if any thing goes wrong you will have a witness that does not blink,I have a friend that told me in some situations its a felony when they hit a biker.

i am very tame when it comes to lane splitting but i do it everyday. sometimes i just shut off my brain and gun through it hoping i judged the width right.
but when i do lanesplit with my brain on i usually do it only when i am certain i can get through and in some cases BEFORE the light turns green
I did that today, but traffic was worse. I was following some guy on a BMW (I have a ninja 250) and a motorcycle cop stopped us in the middle of the road and yelled at us for lane splitting to fast. Still...best day ride ever :) Sacramento to sanfransico beats sac to yosemite any day! xD
I live in Sacramento and I rode every day From Madison Ave. to Elk Grove Laguna Blvd. to and from Work 6am to 4 pm now that's FREAKING INSANE.

LOL! yea ill stick to my sask highways where you pass a car (or even see another) every 15 mins.
