  • look how smooth that is :D

  • Fouling in the action I see?

  • It's Kar98k!

  • rubber bullets?

  • 0:7 FUUUUUUCCCKKKK you bolt! :D

    But, what a great weapon!

  • Bad shooter....

  • raoul le sniper its that you?

  • my nabour claims to have one...

  • clean that bolt up

  • Lee needs to learn trigger finger discipline.

  • @MsGreen191 WTF Are you saying they purposely made their rifles hard to use to keep ROF down? I dont know how else to say this but you are wrong, hes working the bolt too slow and as it has been said about million times before it needs a good cleaning. I personally have no idea why hes shooting an unclean weapon, especially a kar98k.

  • A bit of grease wouldn't hurt;

    Obviously your a beginner.

  • how did you get this in the uk ?????????????

  • how did you get this gun in the uk ????????

  • HAHA xD americans with a german gun !! xDD

  • can you hit target on 1500 m distance with K98k?

  • So annoying watching this, this guy clearly cannot use a bolt action rifle!

  • @Aussie038 its needs either a new reciever or to be cleaned haha its jamming

  • yes,i owened a copy and the action was difficult, but that was due to german tolerances and the fact that they didnt want a high rate of fire from rifleman, that was for the ultimate machine gun,the mg42.

  • looks like chuck norris

  • Lascia perdere...

  • I've been thinking of getting one of these Rifles for a while now. Does anyone know how much ammo is? Best place to buy it?

  • nooob play scrabble or the rifle will kill you probably

  • Comment removed

  • where can you get a scope mount for the Mauser m98? anybody know?

  • good question do you think it's a one off or will they be available to buy

  • no,. that is not a one off,. you can definitely buy a scope and scope mount for a Mauser m98,. the thing is if you want to keep the integrity of the weapon you will want to get a side mounted scope rail, because otherwise you would have to take off the site irons and the value of the weapon will go down for resale,. if you check out "ATI" they also have an aftermarket stock for the Mauser m98 that makes it look like a sweet sniper rifle with a scope and you can add a bi-pod!,.

  • @laksemann....yes, your correct, i was gonna make the same comment about the guy being too slow and gentle on the bolt.....i collect and shoot these fantastic weapons all the time and you cant operate the bolt like a little girl, also keeping the action and the bolt coated with a nice oil keeps the action smooth, this shooters bolt can use alittle clp lube i would think !

  • I think it is a normal K98K with a repro mount and a modern scope

  • is that a modern scope?

  • dssssc is incorrect. it is a k98. notice the handguard on k 98 stops at the rear sight, on m48's the handguard wraps all the way to the reciever

  • correct it is a 1938 K98 and it is still covered in the german markings

  • is it an original german sniper or repro? and where did you get it?

  • @c1r1j1 Does that mean that EXACT gun was once used to kill someone? :L

  • mitchels mausers sell them it is a yugo M48 it isnt a 98k either way they sell both models

  • @dssssc no sir it is not a M48, you can clearly see that round part on the buttstock, that one is for disassembling the bolt, only K98s consist this...

  • guy were can i get one of thoes. can some one help plz

  • I think, you should clean your rifle...

  • looks like someone needs a new ejector

  • I am guessing more along the lines of it needs a deep cleaning. It probably has cosmoline and burned powder residue in the action making it get that gummy. I have seen a lot rifles like that. Some carb cleaner and break free with a can of compressed air can work wonders on them. Especialy SKS, and Nagant rifles.

  • He is opening the bolt to slow. If you operate the bolt to slow it will not trow out the empty brass.

  • At last someone who knows what they are on about the rifle is clean and well oiled , IT WAS HIS FIRST GO so he was a bit worried, the rifle actions very well when used properly. Thanks laksemann....

  • @jag528cbr He don't need a new ejector. He is pulling the bolt to slow back, if he pulls the bolt to slow, the empty shell will not come out of the rifle.

  • @laksemann trust me i have a k98 you have to pull it back slower than that for it not to fly out.

Theres something wrong with that gun, the bolt should move a lot easier than that, unless he just doesn't know how to use a bolt action.

  • @jag528cbr I also have a k98, you can see it on my videos. I have tried to pull the bolt slowly, and sometimes the brass fly out and sometimes not. Maybe I should get a new ejector, but when I pull the bolt hard they fly out without any problems.

I think it is as you say, the guy in the video don't know to use a bolt action. Read the description, it says that Lee is shooting a Mauser for the first time ;-)

  • A mauser bolt shouldnt be that hard to move...

  • unless it a end of the war modle

  • @hunteraja End of war modells were sometime better than pre war kars, one reason for this is simply because a pre war kar has been through 6 years of operational service where as a later war model has only been used for a shorter amount of time. Also the quality of the rifle didnt decrease as war dragged on, obviously there were some cut backs but for the most part late war models had as much care and professionalism put into their construction as there pre war relatives.

  • It is mainly because he is reloading the shot wrong. He should try; pushing the bolt up with his palm, pull the bolt back using his forefingers, push the bolt back with palm, and finally pull the bolt down with his thumb to its original position. Not only is it practical, but very smooth and fast.

  • Not the best mount for a K98 Mauser. Is your scope off set to the left? Noticed your not placing your face cheek against the stock properly. Since your scope is offset you need to go ahead and rest your cheek as usual to get stable but use your left eye to see through the scope. Try it...BC

  • uneeds some oil

  • failed at bolting lolz.

  • where did you get the scope mount for your mauser? im looking for a good peice for my 98k

  • first shooting a RIFE I mean first time ever

  • F range sennybridge I believe.

Going for the 800 yarder were you?

  • i have an 1895 chillano

  • nice piece of art and history you have(the sniper rifle) I will put a scope on mine too!..

  • God Damn it !

Where did you have the k98 sniper rifle

    I want one :(

  • im about to buy the mauser rifle at a local pawn shop for only 90 dollars!!!!!!!!! and its one that was used in the war
