  • wow that scrub is huge i am guessing at least 14 feet. I have a young southern scrub python only about 6 feet now. I hears that southerns are supposed to be the biggest of the scrub python species. The parents of my scrub were both 14-16 feet long so i am hoping to get a big snake.

  • She is about 6 years old. It just takes one bite to realize what they are capable of. I have a huge respect for scrubs. She is not my biggest either.

  • man your a solid bloke and even you found it awkward to hold her on your own, shes a beauty of a snake, i want to get a barneck as a hatchling or yearling, how old is that one and how long did it take to grow her to that size?

  • man thats a nice snake !

  • That's a beautiful Scrubbie man. Congrats on having her looking so well.

  • I would like to buy from you if your selling

  • That is quite obvious, I never made any claim that it could eat me whole??? I will say that they have a mouthful of enlarged teeth that do not feel good if they decide to plant one on you. I have bigger bar-necks that eat large rabbits, they also command respect.

  • huh no way man that thing will eat ya hole

  • I did not personally build them but I had a carpenter friend of mine build them to my specifications. They are about 5-6 years old now and at the time I had huge retics and burms so they were for them. With the dividers in place they work great for smaller(but still large) snakes.

  • did you build those enclosures?

  • I'm in the U.S. I have 3.5 adults at the moment ready for the next breeding season. Some are much larger than the one in this video(also a couple that I am unable to handle like this).

  • I love that you are a calm handler! Where abouts in Aus are located?? I have the pleasure of working with a scrubby who has a beautiful tempermen! and she is alot longer then yours.

  • thats a beast scrub mate, you feeding it rat, g-pigs or rabbits? looking fantastic man

  • HOLY FUCK ITS VIN DIESEL

  • Do they get any bigger than the female that you have?

  • @killerbreed26 In these snakes, it is the male that gets larger than the female. I think for a female, that is just about max. Keeping in mind the gender, they do get bigger than that. The males will also get a very large, square head once fully mature. It is quite impressive as they already have large heads as it is.

  • Thanks, I did check them later that night and found them breeding so that is a good sign. I have kept much of the amethystine complex in my day. They are really cool snakes but you have to respect their size and ability.

  • I would love to work with Amethistine 1 day, Good Luck with that Pair- Keep us updated ;-)
