I'm sure the state trooper doesnt ever speed either. Im sure that created alot o tension between the two orgnizations. But the miami pd offficer was wrong.

While cops shouldn't be above the law the fact that she accepts that he's a cop quickly enough but continues to keep him handcuffed is a bit silly. I think she got SO frustrated at not being able to catch the miami dade officer speeders that FINALLY upon getting one she was determined to keep him!! The law-enforcement community of florida came down on the side of the speeding cop in the end saying that the state trooper went too far in cuffing a fellow officer for just "speeding" (120mph?!?!)
