I shoot cats with my bow all the time, people should spay their animals and then i wouldent have to do this. I dont do head shots tho, a 100 grain muzzy through the shoulder does the trick. its actually good practice

There was a very noticeable decline in songbird,squirrel,and cottontail populations. After a few months of my neighbor and I baiting and killing these unwanted cats,the native wildlife noticeably rebounded. I have NEVER taken any pleasure in the death of an animal. If you let your cats roam freely at night,you are wrong,and an irresponsible pet owner....

This makes me sick. When they were talking about making the laws where you could shoot feral cats, two of my cats got shot with BB guns. One of them died and the other now walks with a permanent limp. I knew exactly who did it. Well, I busted out his front house window with a crowbar, and left a note telling him that if he ever came near my family or pets again he would die. Well, it must have freaked him out that I knew it was him because I haven't heard a peep from him since :D
It shouldn't happen anyway. It was within city limits and there are no laws that limit cats to a property, only dogs. What about people who drive by and shoot peoples' pets. We had one of those in my town and AFAIK somebody burnt his house down.
If you ever find the guy that did this I will personal torture him for 3 days since most other Americans son't have the stomach for it. I love animals more than humans. I find peace and joy having coffee on my deck while observing nature right in my yard. I saw a hawk take out a dove recently,it was brutal for the dove,but beautiful too. THAT is " nature ". I have a cat, I love him,and he is allowed outside ONLY under my supervision!!!

@njmudpuppy we feed our birds aswell and when we feed them we either dont let our cats out or like you only if we are with them.. but at night they come and go as they please.. like i said im not trying to argue as i was only expressing my opinion and were both entitled to our own.. i do tho find it odd that you could love your cat and then shoot another cat

@serloinz Nothing odd about it......We once had a large population of stray cats,many of which were mangy,parasite ridden,and malnourished. There was a very noticeable decline in songbird,squirrel,and cottontail populations. After a few months of my neighbor and I baiting and killing these unwanted cats,the native wildlife noticeably rebounded. I have NEVER taken any pleasure in the death of an animal. If you let your cats roam freely at night,you are wrong,and an irresponsible pet owner....

And they do have souls, maybe purer souls then most humans and I do worry about people and children all around the world. I contribute as much as I can for them, and I care for the animals. 28 minutes ago LOL, I do not see a colar on that cat. In the state of Pennsylvania it is perfictly legal to destroy undemesticated dogs and cats. (Hence ones without colars). I practice this very often for they shit in out flowerbeds and kill the rabbits in which my friends and I enjoy hunting during the fall. I have personaly "Destroyed" several cats with my bow. All I can say to this is whoever shot that cat... you need some more practice.

This makes me sick. When they were talking about making the laws where you could shoot feral cats, two of my cats got shot with BB guns. One of them died and the other now walks with a permanent limp. I knew exactly who did it. Well, I busted out his front house window with a crowbar, and left a note telling him that if he ever came near my family or pets again he would die. Well, it must have freaked him out that I knew it was him because I haven't heard a peep from him since :D

It shouldn't happen anyway. It was within city limits and there are no laws that limit cats to a property, only dogs. What about people who drive by and shoot peoples' pets. We had one of those in my town and AFAIK somebody burnt his house down.

Even with spears, that is a tool we created to give us an advantage against animals. I was referring to the fact that we do not have sharp nails/teeth, a thick hide, built in fur coats, etc to survive in the wild. Only reason we consider ourselves to be at the top is because of our inventions.
