Too confusing the way u say the first , the last , first u say it will form a square then u say u will begin to see a square . In the above explanation u repeat what u have already said instead of using different words, different view or something. I think that is what is most frustrating. I am sure it will just take practice. Thank you.
at 8:45 the middle part, top row begins to take on the desired shape. if you think of a side as 3 beads and then as groups of "3's for a side, how many sides to add" to the base. hope this helps. my mom had to watch this a couple of times, before she got it right.
My son keeps signing in and then I cant remember my YT password! Just in case anyone is trying this for the first time, just remember that it going to take quite a bit of rewinding for you to get the hang of it, and start to remember the pattern. Also, try it once like Karla says with her bead sizes, ect and then play around with it. I have changed up my seed beed or crystal size often to get the desired look. I think the bicone goes best, but thats just my opinion. :) Happy Beading!
First, Does anyone else jab themselves with their needles A LOT? Second, a good idea that I thought of for this would be to make a banner or something, by using the right angle weave like a grid and doing a charted design!
I used the 11 seed beads and planned on using a 4mm hematite round. But, the 4 mm with 2 seed beads did not fit in the hole and the seed beads wanted to fatten out so that you could see the holes in them. I am planning on trying a 3mm (2 was too small). Did I do something wrong? Any ideas. Thanks!
My bracelet came out alright for a beginner, but I completely bombed the end. I'm not sure how to attach the button appropriately. Do you have any tips on how to tie knots when making this kind of jewelry?
This project was a harder one. And I will better explain square stitch in an upcoming Karla Kam. To knot, you should use half hitch knots. You take your needle under a thread, and pull the needle through, thus creating a loop, and then run the needle through the loop and pull snug. A half hitch knot.
Do you have a bead shop near you? I have seen it at Hobby Lobby. Also, try the monsterslayer website. They have good prices on tools, threads, crystals and gemstone beads.
Wow!! So confusing!! You did GREAT explaining but that totally baffles me! I'm sure it will be beautiful though. Not one I'll attempt. Maybe next project!

I prefer fireline to waxing or conditioning thread. Threads also stretch. So for my needle weaving, I use fireline.
