Is this really the final version they will produce? It's possible this might be a sample so they can see what needs to be modified. I highly doubt that David Foster, who seems like he's banking alot on Charice, will produce this kind of sound. If you listen real good, most of the instrumentals sound like electronic keyboard. Someone as big as David would most likely use a real band to support Charice's wonderful voice.

This version doesn't do it for me. It lacks the "full" sound in her David Foster LV show and her Oprah debut (that one was amazing).

The way they mixed the sound here, her vocals need more mids & low. Charice has an amazingly deep, full voice, and this recording didn't do her voice justice.

The song just sounded hollow to me. Aside from initial pitchiness, Charice was her usual amazing self.

I just have issues with the recording production quality - ie. considering this is studio level.

i think because we're used to listen to charice singing live. usually live singing has more 'echo', which makes it like 'full' sound..charice definitely sounds better live than recording. recording can make bad singer becomes good singer and amazing singer becomes good singer 'only' (like this one).

That is a good point.

I'm sure the stale nature of a studio also removes some of the "live feel" for the recording artist as well.

There's something to be said for peforming live ... where the artist can soak in the energy from the audience and exude even more confidence and energy into their music.

Thank goodness for Youtube ... we get to witness Charice's live performances. Her full voice is so unique (esp. for her age).
