Wow I watched the 90s version of the tv show and it wasn't so great either but boy these sets are so lame and the creatures are so fake looking. Not that the 90s one was realistic either but this looks sooo old!!
I remember reading a Fan story on a web site of Land of the Lost and the Writer did a story on this episode of "The Circle" giving Added twist to the episode. Enik didn't tell them the whole truth he hid somethings from them.. The Marshall's thought they were going home but merged with themselves on the raft as the other Marshall's entered.

Thanks headintheclouds for putting all this together ! I loved LOTL ! The W.Farrel movie was trash. They really needed to make it more serious. I won't watch another Farrel movie ever again. My favorite LOTL is when Holly is stuck in the pylon and she's going from one world doorway to another and she finds herself back home and she decides to stay in the pylon but she catches the frisbee before the door closes.She was such a cutie ! Why haven't you corrected the date the show was made in your description? If you will check the various websites on the internet such as Wikipedia and IMBD, you will see that the show ran from 1974 - 1976. It did NOT run in 1973!

Its an absolute disgrace what they have done with this concept in the new Land Of The Lost movie. A big screen version of this show calls for a serious treatment, with some top-notch sci-fi or fantasy writers and lavish special effects. Also, the woman who plays Rony might be one of the most beautiful women Ive ever seen. I wonder what ever happened to her?

watching the trio repeatedly die in the waterfall was a moment in this series that gave me dreams for years to come. This was such a great story, disguised in bad production values. I hope the upcoming movie will at least be nearly as good as this series was, writing wise.

The point I tried to convey in putting these episodes together, is that they were always facing death & trying to get back home. I had many dreams like that, still do.
