  • I never knew this was a cover . . . always loved it . . . always will . . . RIP dear Ted . . . I loved you from the age of 14; spoke to you on the phone when you guys stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Townsville. Dad wouldn't let me go to your concert. I was gutted. You'll always live on in your music (originals or covers alike) :-)

  • Well allright! TMG doing SF, it's a cover, you know you ain't getting SF, sooo it's alright.

  • Anyone notice how Les was going for more of a Johnny Ramone look in this video? Heh.

  • The layered hair is killing the 70s spirit right there-this is the wrong side of the tracks viz-a-viz anything goes glam pub rock. A year earlier they looked and sounded kinda cool. Here it's gonna south, I liked Crazy, their last song that clung to the Melbourne top 40 -only cause I had something going for the fisrt time with a girl after school at the time

  • Terrible cover.......sounds like a bunch of schoolgirls at a sleepover...... where's the soul in that ?? Steve Marriott must be spinning bless him .

  • I always thought this is a marvelous cover, But then again I didn't listen to the original very much. Have you listened to any of Ted Mulry Gang's originals?

  • Man, and I thought this was an original by TMG. They did a great job covering this song, Dare I say it is better than the original? I'm not familiar with Small Faces' Music though, So I will have to listen to their music more before I judge.

  • I can understand the Bay City Rollers (not agree, mind you)comment, LOL totally happy and a cover !

    Nice one though.

  • wereb they like the bay city rollers the boys could watch ?

  • Nah. Aside from the 2 big hit singles they're most associated with, they were one of the great, classic Aussie rock and roll bands of the 70s.

  • This is great! Thanks for posting it.

    Love em...Thanks TMG

  • whats the name of the album this song is off

  • It was originally on 'The TMG Album' and is also on the 'Reunion' best of CD.

  • Someone recommend this guy to me, im from england and a massive status quo fan, and they said this lot where like them, and there not far off, awesome band, and RIP Ted, u was gr8

  • Very Quo boogie sound form the 71 - 81 Quo frantic four era.

I am huuuge quoaholic too and loved seeing TMG play live in between quos tours down under.

    RIP Ted

  • im a quoaholic as well man, and I love TMG. Lucky you got to see them, im an american so you possibly couldnt understand my pain. Hahah.

  • Man , how does quo & TMG get known in USA ????

I have been to the states over 20 times & have yet to meet ANYONE who knows of these guys....all I hear is " are they like ZZTop " !!!

  • and thats exactly what I have to tell people that live here as well. Well Status Quo were essentially the British ZZTOP. They are my favorite band, easy maybe next to UFO. haha. They are known by Metal Heads etc, and im a metal head at heart, and a music nerd

  • Brilliant stuff - even better than the original (and when you think of how good Steve Marriott was, that's some compliment).

Thanks for posting this - any other Ted Mulry/TMG, keep it coming.
