I really enjoy your reviews and you are right about not purchasing high end products unless it's something you want to try. Makeup is an investment and each foundation at $50 a pop is something only you should decide on purchasing and not for the sake of a review.

Before you call everyone rude for requesting reviews remember that she asked everyone to do that. It's understandable that she doesn't want to spend all the money, and she should do what she wants on her own channel but it doesn't mean everyone who asked for a certain review was rude when she was very open about people requesting them.

The whole shaving off your tan thing makes me crazy, so I've used an epilator (and the NoNo) over the last year and a half and I no longer shave off my St Tropez!! Yay for longer lasting tans.
I have that Revlon brow thing too, but I always find my brow hairs on the wax side - do I just have super weak brow hairs or what?? Other than it making me bald, it's good!!

Have you done a review on the Revlon brow pencil/wax? I looked on your page and can't find it. Do you remember what the name of the video was? And btw, it's amazing that people would ask you to spend huge amounts on super high end products. I only ask for a review on products that you have shown us in your hauls - I would never ask you to go out and buy a product just for a review. Ouch!

I completely understand and agree with your position on the review product topic. I think if it's something you want to try or something you have and someone requests a review...then go for it. But even then...you do not HAVE to do reviews for us. And I don't think you should have to justify not doing a review either. Anything that you do should be greatly appreciated by your viewers as this is a hobby and something out of passion and act of kindness and desire to share with the world.
I think the best thing to do is do reviews on products you have and reviews on new products you want to try.
On the Chanel Bronze Universal is it a translucent shimmer or a matte finish? Would it be good for contouring ? I am new to contouring and bronzing, currently I own Benefits "Ten" and love it.

hey lisa, i am writing this in the middle of the video so maybe you have mentioned it, but why not get samples of some of these requests (ie armani comparison) at the counters/sephora/mac etc. that way you have a little bit of product to talk about. I don't know how that would work on your videos but it can definitely reduce how much you purchase and give you a chance to try some new stuff out
You really can't be expected to buy products that you may not want, or may not ever use to to make your subscribers happy. Your videos are amazing and you always fill us with information. We appreciate that. That's what keeps us here. :o) At least that is my opinion and the reason why I personally love watching your videos, I'm sure I'm not alone.

I can understand where you're coming from and due to the impracticality of it all, I dom't blame you.
But....a suggestion would be...if at all possible...and provided you don't have to change your normal routine (skin care), when it comes to makeup, perhaps picking up.. if they have it available...samples of these makeup items that are being requested? Maybe that would give you the ability to review it without actually buying it. Just a passing thought.... :)

wow- ya just buy what you want, if people want to send you the product to review it then maybe, but you should not have to be the trial person, nor spend you own money for trial purchases. really support your view point, and if anyone doesn't understand, don't listen to them, they are not being realistic.

i also wanted to add i appreciate that you do reviews on YT suggestions and agree that you shouldn't have to purchase just for the sake of a review. Even if you can return stuff its just a big hassle lol

hey lisa, i am writing this in the middle of the video so maybe you have mentioned it, but why not get samples of some of these requests (ie armani comparison) at the counters/sephora/mac etc. that way you have a little bit of product to talk about. I don't know how that would work on your videos but it can definitely reduce how much you purchase and give you a chance to try some new stuff out

You really can't be expected to buy products that you may not want, or may not ever use to to make your subscribers happy. Your videos are amazing and you always fill us with information. We appreciate that. That's what keeps us here. :o) At least that is my opinion and the reason why I personally love watching your videos, I'm sure I'm not alone.

I always thought that when a person asks for a review of a product it's only if the reviewer already owns it...I never realised that people actually want the person to go out and by it! I'm a bit surprised by that I must say! Thanks for another great vid :)

I can understand where you're coming from and due to the impracticality of it all, I dom't blame you.
But....a suggestion would be...if at all possible...and provided you don't have to change your normal routine (skin care), when it comes to makeup, perhaps picking up.. if they have it available...samples of these makeup items that are being requested? Maybe that would give you the ability to review it without actually buying it. Just a passing thought.... :)

don't feel bad about rejecting things to review... this your money and you should spend it on things you want to try out yourself... it's not like you're being sponsored by a fashion magazine or whatever... besides, if you can't return it, you're stuck with it or you will have to resort to swapping it.
