Great example of '60s camp. The drug "degenerates" in these films are always the most clean-cut well-dressed kids imaginable in their sports jackets and cardigan sweaters. Teri Garr even has a bit part. Saw this just once late one night about 100 years ago while visiting Los Angeles.
Man, I had this movie taped on an old VHS tape. Went to watch it the other day and the damn VCR ate the thing! Although I'm sure it's not supposed to be, this is a helluva funny movie watching it so many years after it was filmed. I think those kids were more likely dropping acid rather than smoking pot when they're at the bumper cars.
